Can’t get enough Bridgerton? Fans would agree. With the recent release of season 3, part 2, the regency-era romance has been heating up screens just in time for summer.
Many fans were counting down the days for the hit show to return, and it’s expected that the ‘set jetting’ trend – planning trips inspired by TV shows or movies – will continue to influence travel choices.
In fact, the Expedia Brands Unpack ’24 report found over 40% of Canadian travellers considered booking a trip after seeing it on screen. It also named multiple locales in the UK as popular set-jetting destinations to watch this year.
Data from Expedia shows Canadians may soon be planning their own English summer adventure of their own with increases showing in these destinations:
- York (43% increase)
- Bath (20% increase)
- Windsor (18% increase)
- London (13% increase)
