This is a very safe, quiet and high end resort property. The pool and beach are amazing. The food was good but the menus are limited and not good for kids or picky eaters. It is also very expensive. But if you are looking for a very nice bougie resort that accommodates kids but is better for couples or families with older kids then this is a great option. It is also walking distance to Baha Mar (by day along the beach) which is a nice option for more restaurant, casino, and water park options.

We really liked the Sandyport grounds, from the lagoon side beach area to the private ocean front day beds. It was very convenient to be within walking distance of a few restaurants, cafes and a convenience store. The staff was very friendly at the front desk and very helpful to ensure your stay was comfortable. The breakfast restaurant had good food, but service was pretty slow. It was located close to the airport, but a good distance away from downtown Nassau, which was great when you wanted to be away from the crowds, but not so great for the expense of taxi’s each way (approx $40 tip each way). We were told by one of our tour guides that we should have taken the bus wherever we wanted to go for as little as $1.50, so definitely would have saved us a lot of money! The room had a kitchenette and was decent, but a little dated and we had no view, however, we didn’t spend much time in the room, so it was fine. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The beach is amazing!!

Overall great experience! The staff are the shining star of this property! From checking in to out and in between, we really liked the service! The resort is more on the quaint side, but my wife and I prefer that to behemoth, Atlantis across the street. The two is getting a bit long in the tooth and certainly the rooms could use a refresh. On the flip side, the location, staff, and food overcomes the aged bedding, etc.

This property was perfect for my family vacation. Aquarium beaches pools excursions I mean it don’t get better than this honestly. I’ve been too many islands and we loved everything…. One small thing we need some chicken fingers n French fries at the pools… shake shack fries food in sesame and there chicken n fries is brown meat bites… different from room service chicken tenders (allergy kids) other than that was perfect
