This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. During our 4 night stay, we were practically the only guests there. So, we had the whole villa and staff to ourselves. Road access to this hotel is rural. Best to have a local guide or ask hotel for pick up. Food is simple and local not fine dining. No buffets. Activities include star grazing at night and playing with the pet cow. Side trip to the historical city Granada is highly recommended. This hotel is simply superior to the $650 CDN per night one we stayed in Costa Rica.

The ranch is an amazing property. Our room was beautiful, and we enjoyed the guided birdwatching and monkey trips offered. It was expensive to get there from the airport and back.

This property is located in the heart of the jungle and it's beautiful! The only wildlife I encountered was the crabs that tried to take over our romantic dinner on the beach and some other wildlife at that time. Everything else was amazing, just be mindful there is no elevators all stairs...so if you're taking older parents with you be mindful of how they would get up and down. It's an amazing workout tho, my legs are super tight because of it lol...so glad I workout because it could have been a lot worse. Great property for relaxing and that is what we did! Great staff and people!

The property is very beautiful and the service is amazing!! However the surfing beach is about 25 minutes away and you’ll need your own transportation!

Fantastic Eco Lodge with excellent food, many options for activities, and top of the line service. Highly recommend, especially for couples and romantic getaways.

The property was very luxurious! I loved the room, the restaurants and the pool!

Contempo is a nice piece of property conveniently located. Definitely needs a facelift. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Our room was bit outdated, the handle for the shower was loose and came undone ( they had no one to fix it ) there was NO hot water in the shower, the air conditioning didn’t work well.

Staff was very friendly and they address you by your name, which was surprising that they said Good morning Mr.., very courteous and with a smile.

It was greate for a getaway night
