Pool closed too early in the evening

From the moment Ari met us at the airport with cold towels, icy cold water and cookies, we knew we were headed somewhere special and we weren’t disappointed. This amazing gem of a resort is so conveniently located in central Ubud but walk down the driveway to be greeted by name and you step into an oasis of calm. Exceptional service, lovely suites and absolutely gorgeous gardens. This is not some large, flashy new resort and thank goodness for that. This is the real Bali and we felt privileged to call Komaneka home for our 2 week stay. Thank you to all at Komaneka at Monkey Forest, we will be back!

Such an amazing experience at this hotel, not only is the staff incredibly kind and attentive they are also so thoughtful. We stayed for our honeymoon in the pool villa, and on the first night we came in they gave us a call in the morning to see if we’d like to have breakfast even after breakfast hours were over since we hadn’t eaten. They always asked us about our itinerary to help us decide best places to go or offer us shuttle service or a car. We went on a lovely trip with Joe to the swing and coffee plantation, he’s so fun and knowledgeable, he was also so patient with us and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The room itself is beyond what I expected, so clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom is so spacious and gorgeous that we could probably just live there. The shower has the best water pressure and the hot water keeps going even when we’ve filled the bath and want to use the shower after. Such an amazing experience, I really wish we had booked longer. Highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back one day! Also they offer yoga in the morning, a free foot massage when you first come and their chicken is halal. Amazing experience!! Highly recommend Samabe. Stellar rooms, amazing staff, incredible food, fabulous views, the beach Cabanas are a must. And so is the breakfast “in” the pool. The spa is pretty nice too. Traveled there with two kids and although the kids club was small , the kids had an amazing time.

Este resort es excelente los empleados son exactamente amables y gentiles siempre con una sonrisa atendiendo cualquier necesidad,el spa super la comida muy rica los desayunos excelentes todo aqui fue una experiencia muy agradable con ganas de regresar 😍
