Breakfast buffet is great. Very fresh and has a great variety of food. By far this is the best complimentary buffet breakfast; it even is better than some paid-for buffets.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
This hotel is right next to the airport so early flights are no problem. There is a train to downtown that runs about every 10 minutes which is so convenient. It stops at the Lagunen mall if you want to go shopping.
I would come to Bergen again just so I could have an excuse to stay at this hotel!

An absolute gem! Located in the beautiful heart of Bryggen the hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable and packed full of character. Perfectly placed to explore Bergen, all the must do tourist spots are walking distance along with the train station to explore the rest of Norway. The buffet style breakfast is an excellent start to the day with plenty of choice and a wealth of excellent restaurants surround the hotel so you won’t struggle to find somewhere for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again should we return to Bergen.
