Perfectly placed for skiing / boarding and walking holidays around Zermatt

The is a127m2 two floor apartment on the top third and fourth floors of the apartment house. Most of the ceilings include massive wood timbers traditional in Swiss architecture.

After leaving the lift to the 3rd floor, you enter the apartment into a lovely open plan living area with ample seating, open fireplace access to the balcony and dining area, and connected to the kitchen via a counter. There is also a WC with wash hand basin.

Upstairs are two bedrooms - one Swiss-double and one with twin beds - with between them a shower-room with a large corner bath, a separate shower, double washbasins, WC and small washing machine.

At the bottom of the stairs a door leads to a bedroom & ensuite shower room. This large room has a Swiss-double bed, CD player, TV, table, a shower room, built in wardrobes, and a visually separated area suitable for an extra child’s bed or one or two travel cots (an extra bed and a cot are available by prior arrangement).

The kitchen, conveniently separated from the living room area by a counter, has a ceramic hob, full electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, Nesspresso coffee machine, kettle, and is well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. There is a Fondue set, and a teapot and toaster. (A microwave oven is available in a cupboard if you need it.)

The dining area has a table which can seat 6 or more with the leaves extended, half the seating is traditional Swiss built in seating, and the other half chairs. There is a small sideboard, table mats, candlesticks etc.

Doors from the living room and also from the the downstairs bedroom lead to the 19m2 balcony with enjoyable mountain views, and from which also the top of the iconic Matterhorn can be seen. There is a sunbed, two tables and 6 chairs on the balcony.

The living room is furnished with two sofas and an armchair. This furniture, carpets and curtains were all new in 2012.

There is free wifi through the apartment, and the TV has many international channels including all UK terrestrial TV channels, and BBC radio, including radio 1,2,3,4.. There is a Zermatt channel which includes rotating webcam views from the high points of the area, so you can review the weather conditions before leaving home. There is also a fireplace, a CD player, and a multizone DVD player.

The two main supermarkets are also within walking distance, about 2 - 4 minutes away, important in Zermatt as there are no cars and all shopping has to be carried home.

The apartment is also within walking distance of the main station where everyone arrives (2 minutes) and Gornograt station (2 minutes, then about 45 minutes up to 3000 m) , and 10 minutes walk from Sunnega station (which whisks you underground up to 2300m in a few minutes). The stop for the free bus to Sunnega and to Klein Matterhorn (up to 3800m) gondlebahn is also 2 minutes walk (it's outside Gorngrat station.)

This is the second year we spend our ski week in Bellevue apartment. We are always strong satisfied and conquered by the excellence of this rental at all levels (Situation in Zermatt, spacious apartment, excellent comfort, top equipment, etc.). Everything has been made to make you feel at home! Of course, Adrian is the Maestro for all this ! His kindness, his constant concern for the confort of his guests, a communication with him extremely fluid, friendly, instantaneous and continuous throughout the year in order to allow you spending the best holidays without any stress or surprises. Hats off to Adrian! In Zermatt's more than 20 years of memory, it is the best rental and the best interlocutor we ever had. RV is already set for 2023 year. 2024 and next will follow of course! Our stay was wonderful and the location was right in the town of Zermatt. Its so close to the train station so carrying luggage was easy. The place was clean and communication was great. Lots of nice reccomendations provided. We were pleased with our stay with 2 young children.

Best location! Only 2 mins walk to the main train station and one of the train that go up to Gornergrat mountain. Very convenient for us going there for snowboarding! Nearby shops, grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment itself is very spacious with 3 bedrooms that fit a group of 6 of us. Although the apartment is a bit dated, all bathrooms are newly renovated, and the best part is the unit comes with washer and dryer! Kitchen has all the tools and equipments needed and we're happy to have cooked most meals there. The host Adrian was very nice and responsive, he provided lots of useful information to us before we arrived. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this booking! 🙂

Ausser dass es viel zuwenig Schnee, dafür um so mehr Sonne hatte, genossen wir einen tollen Aufenthalt. Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns sowie mit Kindern gut gelegen für die Erreichbarkeit der Bergbahnen. Auch die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Fantastic family ski trip
Our family of four (two adults,and our two boys 14 and 11) had a simply wonderful time in Zermatt at Adrian's apartment. It is perfectly set up, with everything necessary for a self catered trip, but close to the action as well. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and cosy, with a fireplace and underfloor heating. The wooden decor is more traditional than many apartments I saw advertised, which added to the feeling of cosiness. The beds were extremely comfortable. Location is simply perfect. Incredibly close to supermarkets, restaurants, the railway station and shuttle bus as well as the train up the mountain, I don't think a better position would be possible. Adrian was a helpful and generous host and we thank him for all his assistance and kindness. I really recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly. A real gem!

Great place to stay in Zermatt!
Adrian’s place is in a perfect location for skiing in Zermatt: just 2-3 blocks from the main train station, the Gornergrat train up the mountain, multiple grocery stores, restaurants and shops, as well as an ice rink. It’s maybe a 1 minute walk to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops are, so perfect for après ski! Since it was our first time in Zermatt, I was initially unsure which ski lifts to take and how to get to them, but it turns out it’s very easy to order an electric taxi to take you to whichever lift you prefer. We opted to hire a ski guide/instructor the first two days, and they met us at the apartment building, called the taxi, and helped us figure out our way around the slopes. Highly recommend doing that if it’s your first trip to Zermatt! The owner Adrian is also wonderful and easy to work with. He sent so much helpful information and great recommendations - including detailed instructions on what to buy and how to have a delicious fondue dinner night at home. He was also very responsive to any questions and clearly eager to share his love of Zermatt with others. Thanks Adrian for sharing your place with us. We made lots of great memories there!

Cozy, comfortable and super convenient
We had the most wonderful stay at Adrian’s apartment. It was the perfect location for us right by the station. The apartment is much bigger than the pictures and fully equipped with all your needs. It was so cosy and warm. We loved hanging out there and making our own cheese fondue. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning soon!

The apartment was very convenient if you’re arriving by train with lots of luggage since it was only a 2 min walk from the main station. It is also a quick walk to many shops and restaurants. The place was very clean and Adrian provided lots of information for us about Zermatt. I would definitely recommend this place!

Phenomenal apartment in unbeatable location
I can’t recommend Adrian’s apartment enough. It is beautiful, spacious, and in the best location in town. You’re just steps away from shops, bakeries, and restaurants. Getting to any of the slopes is also very easy. Next time I plan a trip to Zermatt I hope it’s available!

The PERFECT home away from home
We spent Christmas week at Adrian's place in the Bellevue and we could not be happier that we chose this spot! It is perfectly located, a mere 2 minute walk from Migro's market and numerous restaurants and shops were just a few steps away yet the location, just off the main street, felt quiet and private. Everything was clean, the apartment was warm and cozy and had plenty of room for our family and friends (party of 7). Beds were comfortable, shower was great and the peek-a-boo view of the Matterhorn from the deck was a highlight each morning! Adrian was so helpful and responsive to any questions I sent him, a wonderful host. We will cherish our memories of Zermatt and hope to visit again someday, we would definitely stay here again.

A Special Family Retreat
After two years of COVID disruption, we finally got to experience this 2020 vacation in 2022. The apartment was perfect for us - 2 grandparents, son and his wife and 15 year-old granddaughter. They had their own 2 BR/Bath suite upstairs as we enjoyed the main level master BR/Bath. Location is just steps away from the main town street and all of the stores/restaurants but very quiet. Each morning the skiers assessed the weather by checking out the tip of the Matterhorn from the balcony. We cooked in some nights and the kitchen was very well stocked for 6 of us. Enjoyed eating out at the many great restaurants all within walking distance. Good location for a nonskier to safely walk and explore the history of this town. Nonskiers can also take the cog railway up the mountain and meet your family for lunch with breathtaking views. Apt also has very stable wifi and good TV options. Host Adrian was very helpful before and during the stay. In the unit, he had many helpful articles about the area. This property is a great choice for your special trip to Zermatt.

This condo was perfect for our family. It included my husband, me, daughter and her husband, son and his gf. Our children are late 20's early 30's. The location was very close to train station. The village was very walkable. The skiing was very nice, could have used more snow but the temps and views were amazing! Runs are longest we have ever skied. We are from the US and had to do a lot of things to travel during covid but so worth it. Adrian has a lovely place with everything you need for a stay.

All was fine apart from a very noisy air ventilation system that was very disturbing at night in the upper rooms. Otherwise we appreciated the comfortable, new bathrooms and the incredible situation so near to the train and Gornergrat stations. Pleasant living / dining area and fire place. Our stay was excellent and we recommend this property unreservedly. As indicated, the location, cleanliness, communication and check-in were excellent. The property is well appointed and feels cozy, even though it is large enough for 6 adults and a couple children. There is a helpful room for storing ski equipment. Grocery stores are nearby. Adrian, the owner, has obviously taken a lot of care and time in outfitting this property for visitors. This was our first time to Zermatt, and this lovely home certainly made it all memorable for our family.

Great location and great accommodation
Our Host, Adrian was there, whenever we needed, and for whatever we needed, all along. The apartment location was just perfect. Close to everything yet far enough not to feel too close to anything. Zermatt is a beautiful place, the village, the mountains and skiing options, the entertainment and restaurants options, all the above. Services are first class in transportation and elsewhere. @ Adrian’s apartment we had the ideal home base to explore and enjoy while outside, relaxing and recharging after a day on the slopes, when inside. Scenery mountains surrounding Zermatt are stunning, with the Matterhorn dominating the horizon. The apartment had all we could have asked and the space to make it perfect. A wonderful getaway, highly recommended indeed

Great experience!
Great experience renting this apartment! The apartment is spacious and a very short walk to drop the kids off for ski school. The building is quiet and yet so close to everything! The owner is very friendly and helpful for all your Zermatt questions too :)
