« Every year my hubby and I go away for our anniversary and this year we chose this beautiful, quiet cottage near a lake that we had all to ourselves. This was the first time in 31 yrs we could actually swim in a body of water on our anniversary and so glad it was there. « The house has the characteristics of a peaceful era of time gone by! If walls could talk the history of the house would be full of stories! At one time it was probably the queen peering over the bay, anticipating the arrival of fishing boats! The house was clean and accommodating for our stay! « We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation! »

« The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend. »

« We enjoyed the spot, and the cottage. We were VERY disappointed that this was advertised as a 2 bathroom cottage. It is 1 bathroom, with an outhouse toilet! We booked specifically due to the fact it was supposed to be 2bath, 2 bedroom. No where in the information did it say that the second bath was only an outside toilet with no sink or shower. Also disappointed with the hosts reply, when I emailed her!! »
