The Relaxing Zen Garden. You've found it.

This is one unit of a side-by-side duplex with an amazing garden located in midtown. You'll love the carefully curated and landscaped backyard, with a coi pond, water fountains, and nearly year round flowers. Nestled in a cute community, and super convenient to grocery stores, shopping, UNCW, 10 min to Wrightsville Beach, 20 min to Carolina Beach. Located on a bike trail that runs from the Cape Fear River to downtown and the ocean!

This cute 2BR is located right in midtown Wilmington! The garden is remarkable: relax outside smelling the flowers, hearing the birds singing, you will love to stay here! As you enter the garden, you'll be under blue skies and soon on your patio, where you can enjoy the outdoor gardens, walkways and water features. Then you'll see an an incredibly peaceful landscape of native plants, tropical delights, a variety of flowers so there are nearly year round blooms, a coi pond, water fountains, and brick and cobblestone pathways throughout the garden. It's hard to put into words how relaxing and peaceful it is. Then at night, the garden automatically lights up and is simply stunning. The palm trees in the front yard light up as well.

The home is completely remodeled with new everything, and is nice, clean, and updated. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics and a coffee and snack bar. The spacious living room has comfortable seating and a large Roku smart TV and wifi. Each bedroom has a brand new comfy queen memory foam/gel hybrid mattress with mattress protector.

Romantic getaway, family trip, or weekend with friends, Zen Relaxing Garden will surely be a memorable trip for everyone.

We are here if you need us, invisible if you don't. You can check in anytime with the keypad lock and start relaxing! We'll likely text you during your stay to let you know we are available. If I don't hear from you, we will assume you're happy!

We are in the middle of Wilmington, short drive to Whole Foods, grocery stores, UNCW.

Convenience to drive to groceries, beaches, UNCW, downtown

Checkout is 11am, but we can offer late checkout as availability allows. 12pm checkout is $20, and 1pm checkout is $30. Please contact us first and if we can accommodate your late checkout, we will be happy to.

We had a great stay here. We stayed for 2 weeks, as we were visiting our kids and granddaughter and this place was perfect! Our granddaughter even stayed a few nights. We loved the beautiful landscaping.

Weekend in Wilmington
This house was just as advertised. It’s nestled in its own park-like atmosphere, with all the trees, shrubs, ferns and pleasantly scented jasmine archway. Once inside you find a surprisingly spacious home. Every room is much larger than expected, even the bathroom. The home is very clean and tidy, and tastefully decorated. There was an issue we had, and the owner had an immediate response and explained the situation to my satisfaction. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and we noticed that in 4 days we never heard a horn, a dog bark, or even another voice. We had a great time and would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Zen Garden. The home was clean in a nice, quiet setting, but still close to anything you need in Wilmington. The hosts were great and very responsive. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Dropping our daughter off at UNCW and wanted to stay at a place that helped us get out "Zen" back! LOL! The property was clean, quiet and comfortable! Curt and Ada are responsive hosts! Would definitely stay again!

Feels like a little hideaway...beautiful garden. A couple of the appliances (main TV and bedroom TV) did not work. Although you dont go away to watch TV. And the one bed is not so good, not Zen when the slats are broken and it sinks down in the middle. Otherwise a great place and location.
