« This is a great place to stay when exploring the Redwood Coast and truly felt like being home. The house was exactly as listed. There is a huge yard and is located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood where you can hear the crickets chirp and the frogs croak under the stars. No complaints at all. »

« This place is amazing. Very secluded and right on the river. Here are some protips - research river conditions beforehand. The Trinity was still experiencing peak run off conditions and was unswimmable and unfishable for the most part. Also, heed the hosts driving instructions that "strongly suggest" accessing the property from Willow Creek. Really, the host should change this to a requirement, not a suggestion. Even accessing from Willow Creek is a bit tricky and not for the faint of heart but...

« This place looks just as beautiful as the photos. The master bedroom is large, with high ceilings and large windows looking out on a gorgeous garden. It felt private and safe. It is extremely quiet. The hardwood floors and fixtures are all high quality. This place is a joy to stay in. I've stayed in plenty of vacation rentals with 5-star ratings that are NOT nice. It was inadequately furnished: needed more silverware and cups; more of a variety of cooking utensils; dish towels and cloths; basic cleaning supplies; 1 or 2 boxes of tissue; a plunger (just in case); games to play; disclosure of no air conditioning; and a warning about the big rig construction vehicles on very rough narrow roads. »

« Very clean and beautiful structure. The pictures on the site make you think you will have a river view and maybe even be able to walk out to the river. That is not real. It’s a short hike or a drive to the river. Not a huge deal but we were a bit surprised. The fireplace smokes up the entire home. We turned off the the heat and it still did it. Fireplace is beautiful and heated the room but smoke was everywhere!!! Other than that, I would stay there again! »
