« Wonderful place!! Very clean! Loft area has a short ceiling - perfect for kids, but didn’t bother the adults.. There was a keurig but no coffee, only hot cocoa, Coffee would be a nice addition. There was a store, a very short walk down the road, which was convenient to grab things that we forgot. Owner was extremely responsive »

« Nice sized lodge for family gathering. Plenty of room, great sitting area on front porch. Nicely planted flower beds around lodge, attracted hummingbirds and butterflies. Only the most basic amenities provided. I definitely would recommend using a 4-wheel drive to access the property. Any vehicle low to the ground could bottom out. »

« You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. « We brought our 16 year old grandson to introduce him to the Va Creeper. The unit is part of a big house, but it was very spacious and private for us. « Just right for my wife and I as we used this as a base to explore the surrounding areas. It was refreshing to find an actual queen sized bed as it was advertised. There was a nice sized shower and nicely stocked kitchen. Neighbors are near, but can't be seen from the property. We would definitely stay again! »

« It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch.. »

« This cabin was even better than the pictures, which are very nice! Great layout for our family. Several areas to tuck away in, or large ling/ dining room open space to enjoy together. The porch! The porch! The porch! Just perfect ! We ended up relaxing more on the porch than doing other adventures because it was so relaxing. Everything was perfect. Very clean, nice private neighborhood and the river is nearby. Will be returning! »

« It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days.
