I have had the privilege of traveling across four different continents, visiting numerous cities and staying in top-tier five-star hotels. While Lake and the City Bed and Breakfast is a family-run establishment, in many aspects, it competes with luxury hotels in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, organization, and amenities. From the moment we arrived, Suzana and Allen made us feel like family. Their kindness, care, and attention to detail are unmatched. They provided fantastic recommendations for activities in Kelowna, helping us make the most of our trip. The room was immaculate, well-organized, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere was peaceful, allowing us to truly unwind. The hot tub room with a beautiful wooden interior was an unexpected luxury, making our stay even more special. Now, let’s talk about breakfast—Suzana is an incredible cook! Every morning, she prepared and served fresh, delicious meals with homemade baked goods, paired with perfectly brewed coffee. Without exaggeration, this was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had anywhere! The location is ideal—just minutes from Okanagan Lake, wineries, and downtown Kelowna, yet tucked away in a serene setting. Whether you’re here for relaxation or adventure, this place offers the best of both worlds. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and luxurious experience in West Kelowna, don’t hesitate to book here. I highly recommend and would absolutely return for another stay.

This is a new property and we had a fantastic stay. Suzana is a thoughtful and gracious hostess and the room was stunning, with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay there again - highly recommend!

An exceptional stay. First rate accommodations and home cooked breakfast from Suzana made for a restful stay. We felt more like family friends than B&B guests. We'll definitely book again next time we're in Kelowna.

This was our first experience using a B&B and it couldn’t have been better. Beautiful spotlessly clean property with exceptional views. However, it was our time spent with the owners over the most delicious breakfasts that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Breakfast was homemade unique and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this property. The location is a bit out of the way from the city amenities but only a 10 minute drive.

Our stay with Suzane and Alan was wonderful. Beautiful accomodations, amazing breakfast each day. Hosts were very helpful when asked about the area and extremely attentive. Well stocked bedroom - robes and slippers and bathroom needs - moisturizer, sun cream, and all other necessities. Wow!! What a great place to stay. The bed was super comfortable. The view amazing from a beautiful outdoor sitting area. Thanks so much!!

This is a perfect place to stay. So relaxing and so luxurious, such careful thought has gone into this accommodation. Lovely location and great accommodation with a dedicated hot tub which was relaxing. Great communal dining and relax area. The host and family were super ..and the three course home cooked gourmet breakfast was delicious. This was our number 1 place to stay in the 3 weeks we have been in Canada.

Our stay at Lake and the City B&B was wonderful. The hosts were very nice. They were welcoming and accommodating from arrival to departure. The main living space for guests was like being home and the bedroom was spacious, well designed and nicely appointed. Very comfortable! To top it off we had a full hot delicious breakfast in the morning. Would definitely come back again!

So far, this was the best B&B experience we've ever had. A beautiful house, in a fantastic location with a breathtaking view. The hosts Alken and Suzana are attentive and caring people who will do everything they can to make you feel at home. Breakfast was divine and the room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had an amazing time with them and are already making plans to return soon.

Loved this place. We booked the room with the private spa tub (hot tub). It is only for that room. Had a private entrance. Beautiful view. The whole place was spotless. There is a common indoor and outdoor sitting area and kitchen as well. The hosts, Suzanna and Alan were so easy to talk too. Breakfast of fresh fruit, home baked biscuits, jam, and quiche were amazing. We enjoyed getting to know the hosts over breakfast. Highly recommend staying here.

This home and the hosts are amazing. The property is beautiful and the room was extraordinary. Decorated like a 5* hotel. Beautiful beds and towels and the plus for our room was a private hot tub with a beautiful view. Highly highly recommend. We booked one night and but for us having ongoing plans we can’t change, we absolutely would stay longer. We will return. We haven’t had breakfast yet as I write this but we know the menu and I know, given the perfection of our hostess, it will also be something to rave about.

The best Bed and Breakfast experience to date. Allen and Suzanne were terrific hosts. . The ‘Lake Room’ is spectacular. Loved the hot tub.. 3 Course Breakfasts and great conversation from our hots started our wonderful days off in Kelowna. Can’t rate this high enough. This is the best place to stay in Kelowna.

Last Stop on our Honeymoon
This was our final stop on our week-long BC honeymoon before flying out of Kelowna, and we couldn't have been more impressed with our stay! Suzana and her husband were wonderful hosts, very personable and had some great recommendations for local restaurants and points of interest. And Suzana made us an excellent breakfast! She switches up the menu each morning which is also a nice touch. And our room was stunning! My husband and I stayed in the hot tub suite and everything from the en suite bathroom, to the comfortable king size bed, to the hot tub itself was perfection. And the view looking out over the city and lake is out of this world. If our travels ever bring us to the Kelowna region again, we will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect Place to Unwind I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lake and the City B&B, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The house itself is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with a nice view of Okanagan Lake that added to the charm. After a long day of traveling, it was such a relief to relax in the hot tub. Breakfast prepared by Suzana was a highlight of our stay. Her delicious and thoughtfully cooked breakfast truly made our morning special! Overall, my stay at Lake and the City was amazing. This was our first B&B Experience ever. We spent three days at Suzana and Allens property to celebrate or 30th Anniversary. It was close to all the things we wanted to do in the Kelowna area. We thank them immensely for their kindness , hospitality and humour. We had what was named the Superior Room, which was immaculate. Each morning there is a unique breakfast offering, which was usually a three course type of experience. The hosts are greatly invested in in their guests and go out of their way to accommodate. Words that best describe our stay would be: Affordable , friendly, professional, relaxed , clean and modern and welcoming. You wont be disappointed.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and it was the best! The hosts were so lovely, they had everything you could need. The views were amazing, the breakfast’s every morning were so delicious. You could smell the freshly baked goodies from downstairs. I must add it was also the prettiest view as you ate. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The room was clean and so beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and again they have everything you need! We booked the room that has the hot tub, highly recommend as it was so nice to sit out and look at the stars. We are already looking forward to our next stay here. Recommend anyone who is looking for a nice quiet and comfortable stay book this place! Suzana and Allen really did WOW us all weekend.
