« The Annex is absolutely stunning, clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. Chris and Liz are warm and friendly hosts who are available if you need anything and have put together a lovely environment to stay. « The neighborhood is fantastic. It is about a 20 walk to downtown Oxford. The neighborhood pub across the street has an incredible feel and the food is outstanding. We did have issues with communicating with the host, he was just slow in his replys. The owner was on site and very friendly, she took care of any issues we had. « Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions. »

« We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. »

« This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...

« We used all the facilities, tennis courts, lawn, pool and snooker table. For 6 adults and 1 toddler there was ample space. The pans, plates etc was plentiful everything you would need. For 6 adults the 1 toilet was a bit challenging at times! Lovely place and area to visit. »
