The Space:
The first floor features an open concept game room, family room, dining area, full kitchen and sitting area where you can relax and take in the ocean views. There are also 4 comfortable bedrooms (1 room with a king bed/private bath, 1 room with a Queen bed, 1 room with 2 twin-over-twin bunks, and 1 room with 2 twin-over-full bunks) , three full bathrooms and a laundry room.

The second floor is wide open and has a bright airy feeling. There is a large living and dining area, fully stocked kitchen, 4 bedrooms (2 with Queen beds and a twin bed lofted over it, and 2 with king beds/private baths facing the ocean) and 2 full shared bathrooms. The living area opens to a relaxing balcony where you can enjoy the magnificent sunrise, a glass of wine, dolphin watch or sunbathe.

The first floor outdoor area features a new turf front "lawn" with giant chess, giant connect-4, and putting green! The back yard is fenced with private in-ground pool, hot tub, covered bar area, private beach access, and plenty of seating for catching some rays or a nap. A propane grill is provided for those who want to cook out and keep that summer fun going all day and night.

Great fun with the family
Loved the property! Great location. We all loved the many games there were to play. Pool and shuffleboard were the favs but also enjoyed the fun lawn games and ping pong. Pool looked great, just a little too late in the season to swim. We walked the beach two and three times a day. Our dogs loved the walks. Yes we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, The Pauls

Everybody told me how much they loved this house! There was plenty of room for our large group! We loved being right on the beach, too. The pool & hot tub were very much enjoyed, as well. Loved, loved, loved everything about it!

Memories Good And Not So Good
All in our mid 70’s. Great time with friends. Shortcomings of the accommodations: Blender did not work, difficulty getting smart lock to function properly, freezer froze food solid, refrigerator barely kept necessities cold, no hand rail to assist exit from pool, no indication(rope) to indicate drop off to deeper end, no inner tubes or games for pool, half of the bathrooms had no cold water (Luke warm at best), too many thermostats leading to temperature swings walking around the house, beach chairs badly rusted and very difficult to open, beach umbrella crumbled, no chalk for pool cues, low quality sand on shuffle board table - disks should glide down table not be pushed hard to reach opp. End of table, one shower leaked with the door closed causing mop up chores every day. Disappointed in what we received for the money we spent. Would not rent again. Paul D.

The families all really enjoyed our stay. I was told several times how great of a job that I did picking the right place. Perfectly located for complete relaxation. We were able to totally entertain ourselves with all of the options for things to do things to do on site.

Excellent winter long weekend
We had an amazing weekend filled with tons of laughter. The three families ate, drank and made merry. We saw dolphins, found many sea stars and noticed windmills 27 miles off shore. The house had plenty of beds and offered so much to do. The putting green in the front was fun. Thank you for a great weekend.

We had a wonderful time! The place looked just like the pictures. So much to do! Great location, right on the beach, which was great with little ones! Plenty of room to play & eat. Never needed to contact host while we were there but prior to the trip host answered all my questions very quickly! Would definitely recommend & I am sure we will stay again in the future!!

50th Anniversary
The property needs maintenance and updating. There is so much for the kids and adults to do. The location is perfect. One A/C unit was out for the week and no one came to fix it the second time. They never wash the comforters. Some of the toys and games are in disrepair. We still managed to have a wonderful time. Plenty of room, very nice pool, easy access to the beach.

Good for a family reunion.
The location was amazing. We were out at the beach every day. The house was clean, the beds were comfy, and since we were a big group it was nice to be able to spread out. Lots of games to play, everyone had a good time. The only thing I would complain about a little was the kitchen. There were a lot of pots/pans but some were flaking and need to be replaced, and all the knives were dull. If we were eating out it wouldn’t have been a problem, but since we had planned on cooking it was a little frustrating. Overall though it was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

House looked liked it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Sheets on the bed were even dirty. Contract charges a cleaning deposit that you do NOT get back even though you have to clean the house before you can even start to enjoy your vacation. They also expect you to strip beds, take out trash and do laundry before you leave, which we did. House was so much cleaner when we left than when we arrived and than we are told our “cleaning deposit” is non refundable. Will not recommend this house or rent this place again.

Perfect beach location.
First and foremost- the house itself is large and has plenty of space for multiple families (we had 3 households) to spread out. I don’t think I heard any of the kids say they were bored, not once. Two kitchens came in really handy. We used the downstairs mainly as a beverage area and did the majority of our cooking upstairs. Our favorite part was being able to literally walk out the back yard and go straight to the beach. Considering the house is next to public access, we didn’t have to even climb sand dunes to see the beautiful ocean. Highly recommend this property and would definitely enjoy again. I’d like to address just a couple things I have seen other reviews mention. The dirty windows- it’s a beach house, directly on the ocean and it’s WINDY plus misty. The windows out of the back of the house were indeed dirty and hard to see through like some others complained. However- it took us just a few minutes each day to wash them and hose them down. Wasn’t a issue in my opinion and most definitely didn’t take away from our experience! One more thing I would like to mention, and it’s not a complaint- just a suggestion. The cookware could use some updating as a lot of the pans were unusable due to Teflon peeling. All in all we made it work and VERY MUCH SO enjoyed Ocean Commotion. The property managers were responsive to any concerns we had. 10/10 would recommend.

The house was perfect for families with kids. They have a lot of entertaining activities for the kids around the house. Beautiful view especially from the upstairs balcony. Plenty of parking space. We would definitely recommend the house for your family vacation.

Beautiful house!
This house is one of the best beach houses I've ever stayed at. We had a large group of people and had an absolute blast. Everything was very clean and it had plenty of room for all 19 of us. The view from the back deck, especially in the morning, is breathtaking. You can't beat being able to walk out your backyard right into the beach. Plenty of bathrooms for a large group and it's nice that there's two kitchens as well! Great place to stay, I will be returning here for sure!

Great location and hourse, poor maintenance
We are a family of 12 with kids under the age of 12. The house has many bedrooms, and with bunk beds in some rooms, we didn’t even use them all. The location is great being right on the beach next to a public access way, so there is easy passage through the dunes to the ocean. There are kitchens and large common areas on both floors. The lower area serves as an entertainment space with a large TV, pool table, arcade game, shuffleboard and raised card tables. Outside there is a reasonable size pool, hot tub, ping pong table and grill. The second-floor common room has a large TV and access to a large deck with great views of the beach and ocean. No one got bored. Despite the structural and location advantages of the house, it continues to have the problem with cleanliness that some of the earlier reviews indicate. When we moved in Saturday evening, we found that the kitchens were in bad shape. The refrigerators were dirty, and we spent considerable time cleaning one. The silverware in the drawers in both kitchens were their trays. We had to clean the Keurig machine. There was sand between the sheets in the Master Bedroom on the first floor. A couple of the air vents were black with dirt. The lock on one of the sliding doors to the pool area was broken. We e-mailed the property manager Sydney and she showed up herself the next morning and spent a couple of hours taking care of our complaints. Its clear that the house needs a major cleaning at the beginning of the season and a larger more efficient cleaning staff to make it presentable in the 5 hours between guests.

Unbeatable Location
House is large and well laid out. The deck offers a view of the ocean where we watched every sunrise and enjoyed the shade from every sunset. Having a kitchen both upstairs and down made it easy to provide for our small army of 17. Some of the areas look a little worn, but we had a blast!
