"I stayed in Solaris 2. Beautiful room with a “wall” that lifts up like a garage door, to a private nature view. Made me feel like I was sleeping outside, but was completely covered even when raining. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper— but I loved the bird, frog, horse & rooster noises. I guess you could close the wall, but nature sounds don’t bother me so I can’t speak to the noise levels with everything shut. Loved the outdoor shower and how open everything was. It’s very easy to hear other noises in the hotel because of the materials and open layout. I was by myself, but would be worried if I was talking to a partner, or doing anything else, about others hearing me. I did yoga outside on my patio and was a little worried about bothering others, because I could hear other guests talking. The yoga classes are at 9:30 & 4:30 and you have to pay extra for them. The same sign up sheet from Friday was at the front desk when I checked out on Sunday. So, the classes are a nice bonus, but may not be available on the weekends. Just bring a back up and do yoga on your phone, on that beautiful patio! Also the pool was closed the day I checked in, because of algae growth (or something similar). So, if having a pool after sunset is super super important, this may not be the best place for you to stay. I get it though— it would be very hard to maintain a pristine pool in the middle of a forest. I’m not complaining at all, just mentioning things I wish I knew."

"We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room (Room #3) with two double beds, a balcony, and a partial sea view for a brief overnight stay in Vieques, and it was perfect for our group of four. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The beach was just a short walk across the street, and we had ocean views from both the rooftop and our room. The beds were very comfortable, and parking was convenient, with options both in front of the building and directly across the street. They offer snacks and breakfast in the morning, and the location was ideal, with numerous restaurants and bars just a few blocks away, easily within walking distance. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever return to Vieques!"

"We have visited Vieques a couple of times. This hotel is so nice! Sean and Paul are excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating. An adult only, with coffee and toasts for breakfast included next to a beautiful pool. It is surrounded by mountains but minutes from the beaches. The location makes it an ideal place to relax. Add the comfort of the bed and you will be new the next day! "

"Truly, this resort is a romantic gem, in a spectacular location! We stayed 3 nights, including 3 breakfasts (guava pancakes are yum), and 2 dinners (try the mofongo!). The ocean-front views were always wonderful: beautiful and relaxing. The pool was delightful, and we were pleased to learn horses no longer roam the property or drink from the pool. The dirt road in is quite pot-holy, and the stairway to the beach is closed due to erosion. Our only excursion was a great nighttime boat tour on the bioluminescent bay. Esperanza for us was more enjoyable in the daytime than late at night. Blue Horizon feels remote, but the destination is well worth the ferry and drive to get there."

"Villa Coral is a great option for Vieques. There is easy parking in a lot right in front of the building (no worries about street parking!) in a quiet residential area. The main drive with restaurants, etc is an easy 10 minute walk. The pickup point for the bio bay is also 10 minutes to walk(2 minutes from the main area with restaurants) Jesse is a great host that has provided all things like beach towels and beach chairs as well as a binder with recommended beaches and descriptions so you can spend less time deciding and more time at the beach!
