One of the beds in our room broke to where one corner was on the floor. They didnt have another room available and couldnt have someone fix until the next day. Staff didnt offer any solution. After going to the front desk and asking the staff what can be done. One staff guy said the could bring us a rollaway bed. The staff that brought it was very nice. They fixed the bed the next day but didnt rem9ve the rollaway so we were constantly having to crawl over it to move around the room. The front desk staff did a poor job of exolaining the amenities which we discovered on the last day. The can light 8n the bathroom fell down. Someone came to fix it but it fell down again and stayed that way for the remainder of our trip. Valet and maid service were exceptional. Front desk staff were not helpful or friendly. Used the spa the last day after skiing all day to shower and change clothes before driving to Denver for our flight. This location was perfect, a 5 min walk to Gondola 1. Valet takes your equipment to Gondola 1 and keeps them overnight so you dont have to carry your skis, polls and snowboard to the lift each day. Customer experience is key, and I was disappointed by the bed situation which hindered our stay with the lack of friendliness and care of the front desk staff. After a long day of skiing, you desire a good night's sleep to prepare for the next day. Spending over $950/night plus $50/day for parking, you would expect a staff to assist when or if things go wrong.
