« This is one of those places where you count your lucky stars that you booked there. If you like outdoor spaces that are nicely landscaped with the feel of being on an estate, this is the place. The rooms were as can be seen in the photos. Our king room was nicely appointed, and had refrigerator and welcome items. The pool area with a canopied bbq area adjacent to it was divine. There is a common area building with sofas just behind a huge lawn (for lawn bowling). Five minutes from Jacobs...

« What an amazing place!!!!!! We only stayed one night, but wished it was so much more. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with beautiful smiles, stunning wine made by Le Mas and when we were ready a guided tour of the elegant property! The beds were like sleeping on clouds, everything was available for our stay. The breakfast was a feast and my dietary requirements were more than catered for. We will most definitely be back as it was probably one of my favourite hotels to stay...

« Property is right in the heart of Hahndorf. We were given an upstairs apartment. Not the best if you have large suitcases. The stairway is inside the apartments. Lovely shower although our showerhead needed a good clean and descale. Otherwise all good. Have stayed before and would stay again in a downstairs apartment. »

« Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult. »
