Floating Beach Hut. Seagull eye view over the famous iconic Tenby harbour.

We always wanted a beach hut and now we have one that's high over the beautiful Tenby harbour. Sitting on the balcony watching the harbour activities is addictive. There is always someone messing about on the water, whether in a tripper boat, yacht, paddle board or just splashing about in the clear sparkling water.
The Floating Beach is a 3 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and an additional WC.
There are numerous restaurants and wine bars minutes away, along with a Tesco express on the High Street and a large Sainsbury's 10 minutes walk away (no hills involved). The Harbour (Harbwr) brewery is tucked away at the bottom of Crackwell Street, where they produce ales with a flavour unique to Tenby.
We love Tenby and the seaside and this is evident in the Floating Beach Hut decor. The kitchen is well equipped for those that want to eat in and admire the view. There is a lift that has a holiday attitude and ascends at a leisurely speed, ideal for transporting luggage, it stops directly opposite the front door of the Floating Beach Hut.
The Floating Beach Hut, Royal Victoria Court, Crackwell Street is inside the ancient walled area of Tenby. From the 1st Monday in July to the 2nd Friday in September the area becomes pedestrianised between 11am - 5.30pm. Guests can drive around to the apartment building (Royal Victorian Court) and unload. Parking is available in several carparks. The two nearest are the multi storey (next to Sainsbury's) and the North Beach Carpark (views of the harbour), both under a 10minute walk away from the apartment. There are also two carparks on the south side and they are approximately15 minutes walk away, depending on the route taken. The longer walk is along the Esplanade and gives a full view of Caldey Island. The weekly rate is £25.00.

Amazing place to stay, beautiful apartment with the best view. Lovely to arrive with an early check-in and see a chilled bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge. Perfect location, close to all of the shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended and would love to stay here again.

Everything is modern and in good shape. Super clean. Watch the sun come up and the tides rise and fall from the balcony and living room. We would not come back to Tenby unless we stayed here again. Warning: parking is 1/2 mile away, and it is therefore a 1 mile walk round trip to feed the parking meter each day.

It looked lovely before we went, but we were bowled over by the place. It is really big and airy. We loved how the bedrooms can be 'shut away' from the rest of the place and there are three toilets!! Very important with teenagers and kids around. It's extremely quiet and that view! Sat outside on the balcony (bigger than it looks) to enjoy many times a day. We've been coming to Tenby all our lives (oldest 74) and it never fails to take your breath away. The kitchen is very well equipped for a holiday let, we could have done with a couple more mugs and another roasting/baking tray, but we like to cook. A tiny niggle in an otherwise fabulous property. Glad of the lift on arrival and departure too!

Lovely Christmas Stay
My family and I loved our stay at The Floating Beach Hut. A relaxing Christmas break was enjoyed by all. The apartment is a lovely cosy place to be, with everything you could ever need, and the views were just gorgeous. One of our party has mobility problems so the lift was a great asset during the stay. Tina was superb and answered all my messages quickly and in a lovely friendly way. We will definitely be back 😍

Perfect place to spend a few days catching up with my best friends - warm, welcoming, comfortable and just as described in the listing. The view from the balcony is the cherry on top. Spacious property with great facilities for a family/freinds holiday. Located bang in the centre of town with spectacular views over harbour and north beach. Easy access to all of Tenby's attractions, food and entertainment. Very clean throughout with fresh milk and a bottle of wine supplied. Ample towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid all present in the property. Property is located up a few stairs but a lift is available stopping directly opposite Floating Beach Hut. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend

Best views of Tenby from a stunning apartment!
Tenby itself is stunning. It has a little for everyone - outstanding beaches, history, great independent shops (we LOVE Two Red Dogs), yummy food, activities etc etc. This is the best apartment we have had since we've been coming to Tenby (and that is a long time!). The view is outstanding - to the left along North Beach and to the right over the bustling little harbour (you could sit for hours and just watch the goings on below). The apartment is really well set up, with the bedrooms and bathrooms at the back of the apartment, leaving the large kitchen/diner and sitting room to enjoy the views. This was particularly good for us as the octogenarian is an early riser and the teenagers are most definitely not! So anyone wanting to get up early or stay up late can do so safe in the knowledge they aren't disturbing anyone. The flat is spacious, immaculate and well equipped. It is also really quiet in the flat, you never hear any people/traffic. The communication was great. If you've never been to Tenby before, a trip to Caldy island is a must (the beach you land on is my favourite ever beach, it's hard to put into words but it is just magical). We also recommend The Billycan to eat - especially if you have teenagers with big appetites!

The description and photographs of this property don’t do it justice. It’s much bigger than we expected. It’s pristinely clean, full of character, with more facilities than we could’ve ever needed. The view from the balcony is stunning. We loved the cosy flame effect fire and fairy lights. The property is in a super central spot to explore Tenby. We’ll most definitely be back. A huge thank you to the hosts Tina and Gareth who couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait for next time.

Amazing Gem!
The apartment is an amazing gem of a place to stay. The views over the bay are fantastic and it's close to the beaches and the shops in town. Everything was sparklingly clean. We had a great week exploring this lovely seaside town and surroundings - we recommend the coast path south from Tenby for beautiful views of the coast and islands.

Lovely apartment in a great location
We spent a week at the Floating Beach Hut as a family of four with two teenagers. It had plenty of space for all of us - the apartment is effectively divided into two with a living space and a sleeping space. This makes it really easy to do your own thing or do things together. The views are amazing to the North Beach and harbour from the balcony at the back of the apartment, and the bustling town is right on the doorstep from the front. It's about a 100m walk from the front door to the steps/ramps that take you to the beach, so really easy to get to (although steep!), and about a 20m walk through an alleyway to the high street, which has a great mix of independent and quirky shops, and practical ones like Tesco. A 10-15 minute walk through the town gets you to Castle/South beach, which is larger but less sheltered than the North, both are amazing, with clear waters and plenty of space. We would thoroughly recommend the Floating Beach Hut, as a great place to stay for a couple or family.
