« We had a happy relaxing break in this beautifully styled, well equipped and comfortable house with its stunning panoramic sea views from every room. One of the loveliest places we’d ever stayed in & we didn't want to leave! The owner host Mark was very responsive and helpful. Our dog loved the local dog-friendly beach at Seaton which was only 10 minutes walk down hill and we tried the food at the Smugglers Inn in town which was good. « Property has a great location and fantastic views. A particular feature was the sitting room with large sash window. Inside property a little tired and would have benefited from an extra bathroom given it can sleep 10. We enjoyed our stay. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Spring Barn. The cottage is spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It is ideally located between Salcombe and Hope Cove, with fabulous clifftop walks nearby. »

« Property as advertised. Very comfortable stay, with everything you need. Despite typical wet and gloomy Dartmoor weather, the cottage was warm with plenty of space for us and the dogs to dry off between walks. »

« The property was spacious and clean with amazing views over the river however there were slight difficulties with the parking it is in a lay by round a bend on a busy Rd going past the property although the host advises parking outside to drop luggage off but this was not easy to do. The layby could do with a mirror opposite to see ongoing traffic as you drive in and out. The host was very helpful with any extra questions we had and we would stay here again. out »

« The flat itself was very good. A great location, big and airy, a bit shabby chic but nice. The service from the local agent (PlumLocations) was terrible. We confirmed availability of, booked, and paid in advance for a late check-out but they unilaterally cancelled at short notice, without offering any mitigation such as somewhere to store our suitcases and hence leaving us nursing bulky suitcases for a couple of hours. Pretty shabby customer service. »

Beautiful historic building, rude staff

"Very historic hotel, old style but pleasant. Room was big and convenienr. Staff was a bit rude, for example they charge guest staying 2 nights for printing 1 page pdf document, never seen if for last 10 years. Night receptionist not helpfull at all inasked where to buy uk electric sockets. It was very visible that i bothering him. He said rudely not possible before 9am. I went out walk 2 min and shop was selling that. Really could be very good place but this staff do that its just an average place"

"Bathrooms badly need upgrading. Caulk between some of the tiles need cleaning. Edge of bathroom door has chipped paint. Old style heaters do not work. Staff were excellent and brought up a space heater for the room. Sorry - cannot understand the questions that are only in Francais"
