« The cabin was very nice. It was a central location for visiting several waterfalls. We never cooked or grilled at the cabin so I can't comment on those but everything looked fine. It was a really quiet get-away. »

« What a nice surprise! From the outside, the Sumac Chalet looked like a quaint little cabin tucked in the woods. But once inside the mix of finishes and furnishings were fun and inviting. There was even a SleepNumber bed just like at home and set it to 65 for a good night's sleep. First thing we did was hike the trail behind the cabin. « This rental is a perfect place for a small family or two couples to base their Lake Superior adventure from. There’s enough room for everyone to have their own space as well as room for everyone to get together to play a game or share a meal. Wi-Fi was great and kitchen was stocked appropriately. »

« The cabin is cozy -- a lofted bedroom overlooks the living area above the ground-floor (private) room. The whole cabin is well-heated by the fireplace and, in warmer months, the porch looks like a lovely place to eat and relax. The cabin is located in a small neighborhood of similar cabins, all separated from each other by well-preserved woods, which keeps everything feeling quite private and natural. All in all, it's a great place and we enjoyed our stay! »

« The property is beautiful and nestled into the trees, which made for a gorgeous winter setting. The bedding and bathrobes are luxurious and comfortable.
