Storm Meadows Club A219, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, is a corner condo with amazing panoramic views, a wraparound balcony, a ski in / ski out location, and club style amenities. The two bedrooms each have a nicely updated bathroom. With one King and one Queen, plus a sleeper sofa, the bedding is ideal for 2 couples or a small family. Please read on for more details.

The Property:
This condo has all the views! You'll feel like you're on the cusp of the mountain with uninterrupted slope views, valley views, sunset views, and an idyllic vantage point for Steamboat's renowned “alpenglow. The ski area faces west, so in the evenings, as the sun dips low, the ski slopes often glow in colors of gold, orange, red, pink, or purple. From this condo you'll also have the perfect place to dine alresco, and to watch the ski area's fireworks and torchlight parades, and hot air balloon festivals. You might also enjoy some views of wildlife. (Check out the 2 moose who were relaxing outside when our photographer stopped by.) The balcony wraps around the condo, from Bedroom 1, past Bedroom 2, the living room, and then wraps around to the dining room. With the curtains open, the floor to ceiling window and 4 sets of sliding glass doors allow abundant natural light to fill the condo and serve as a constant reminder of what a beautiful place you're at.

Bedroom 1 is a large room that features a comfy King size bed and easily accommodates the matching dresser and bedside tables. Also featured are tongue and groove ceilings with encased wood beams that have been stained and match the bedroom furniture, creating a very sophisticated look and feel. This large bedroom also has a double sized closet, amazing views, direct access to the balcony, and a private ensuite bathroom that has been beautifully renovated. The well appointed Bedroom 2 also has a very comfortable bed, a Queen size. It also has matching furniture, tongue and groove ceilings with encased beams, plus jaw dropping views and direct access to the balcony. The second bathroom is right across the hall and is beautifully renovated. Bedroom 2 features french doors between it and the living room. You can open them up and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, or close them for privacy.

The condo's classic, elevated style features leather and solid wood furniture, alter trim and doors. The main living area is one large space that includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen. It occupies the very corner of the building and has views from The East to the South and West. The large HDTV and nicely rebuilt stacked rock fireplace add entertainment and ambiance. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, preparing a meal, or playing games at the dining table, you'll have views of the ski resort to one side, and to the other you have views of base area, the Yampa Valley, and sunsets. The condo even has an entry area which includes a bench and cubbies for storing your boots, jackets, and other gear.

Location:
You can ski, bike, or hike in and out of this location! Exit your door and the adjacent stairs lead directly to the ski slopes in winter and hiking or biking trails in summer. This condo is right next to the ski area and national forest, perched on a ridge just above the ski resort's base area, which is what gives this condo such amazing views. The building has an elevator, but it's just one level down from the condo to the laundry room or the ski locker room. Put on your boots, step outside, and step into your skis. Glide to and from the beginner level “Right O Way'' ski trail which is groomed nightly and leads directly to both Gondolas. This location has separate ski in and ski out routes to and from the Right O Way trail. The ski in route begins farther up the hill, so that skiing in is flat, not uphill. Skiing out is slightly downhill but kids and beginners can easily manage it. Look at our photos for illustration and let us know if you have any questions. Please also note, this development has a seasonal shuttle. During ski season, you can ride the shuttle to and from the Gondola Transit Center. From there, you can take the escalator down to the Gondolas, or ride the free city buses to grocery stores, or anywhere in town. Renting or bringing a car is totally optional, when you stay here. In spring, summer, or fall, a car is recommended, so that you can get out to the numerous state parks, wilderness areas, and remote parts of the national forest which surround Steamboat Springs.

Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We will provide you with discounts on lift tickets, ski & snowboard rentals, airport shuttles, recommendations on dining and activities, as well as information about the property, arrival instructions, and of course, we're happy to answer any specific questions you might have. Accessing this property is easy, even for those who have difficulty with mobility. There are zero stairs between the parking lot and the entrance, and this condo. Unassigned parking for one vehicle is available in an outdoor lot. Parking should always be possible for one vehicle. A second vehicle may be possible during off seasons, but during the busy ski season. Trailers and RVs are not allowed. If you will need parking for a second vehicle, trailer or RV, please contact us to discuss off site options. Please also remember: In ski season, a vehicle is hardly needed and many guests find that saving the cost of gas or a rental car is the way to go, since in ski season, there is a free shuttle from the development to the Gondola Transit Center, where you can explore the whole base area on foot, or hop on a free bus to head to other parts of town. 4WD vehicle information: The roads which lead to and from this property are not particularly difficult to navigate, and are generally well maintained. In summer, pretty much any vehicle will do. However, please note that your route to the condo includes sharp curves and hills. Your route to the Steamboat Springs area may include a mountain pass. So, when traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

The Amenities:
This property also comes with "club" amenities. Just downstairs from the condo is the heated indoor ski locker room, just steps from ski access trail, and the laundry room. The amenity center and clubhouse is right in front of the condo building. The clubhouse has an attendant, a small lounge area, and dual locker rooms with restrooms, showers, and saunas. The clubhouse provides direct access to the heated pool and hot tub which are surrounded by a heated concrete deck that remains free of snow in winter. The upper level of the clubhouse has a well appointed fitness center and provides access to the tennis / pickleball court. In summer, the HOA brings out sunbathing loungers and tables with umbrellas. These facilities are excellent options when you're not out exploring the surrounding areas or taking part in Steamboat's many events and attractions. Who doesn't want to hop in the pool or a hot tub after a day of adventure? Here, the amenities offer you that opportunity and more!
