« Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Chalet. The over the top characteristic was the stunning views of Lake Tahoe from our deck. Chalet was exceptionally clean and well stocked with thoughtful amenities. Host was immediately available to resolve an issue when the area power was shut down and we called her cell phone. Would we return- absolutely. »

« Beautiful, large house that was perfect for our trip out to visit family and go skiing at Mount Rose. Kids loved the game room and the tree house. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of soft towels for everyone. My only minor issue is that the oven, and kitchen in general, is a bit small to cook for a large group (we had 6 adults and 4 kids). Also, the grill was not working during our stay, the owner did apologize for the inconvenience and committed to getting it fixed. Would definitely stay here...

« Near the lake, easy to walk around. Close to the main road with noise. The building is old, and the heater is loud, remote is out of service, bathroom floor always wet, kitchen is small, 1 cloth hanger there. It's an average place, can be better. »

« Was pretty clean and cozy. There were some cobwebs and lots of dust we could see on the ceiling beams and on some of the furniture like the side of bed tables. WiFi was fine on our phones. Tv worked way better when we hotspotted to a phone. Otherwise it was great »

« The bedding was very thin and not complete sets for either bed. The room smelled like a backed up drain and musty. The shower is unsafe as it has no light inside, it’s very dark behind shower curtain and the water turns scorching hot on its own. The room is also lacking plug outlets, only one under tv opposite side of the room from nightstand and definitely no usb plugs either. Property lacking any landscaping, just dirt.Very disappointing. »

« We absolutely loved the house - beautiful and new in every way! The location was perfect for walking to the beach and town. We've been renting different houses at Kings Beach for decades and this is our new favorite. We definitely hope to come back again, so we only have a couple small suggestions. The weather was gorgeous (early Sept) and after the beach, we wanted to sit on the front porch, but it was way too sunny and hot without an umbrella or two. Also, a sectional for the living room...

« We were very happy with the accommodations Super clean and beds comfortable It was a little cold in the morning especially in the bathroom. The little heater didn't quite get the warm heat into the bathroom. A hair dryer would have been nice to have. There were dishes, glasses,and cups, but no eating utensils, that would have been helpful Thank You for a delightful stay! »

« This is our second time staying here. I love the view of the forest from the spacious deck. It's quiet and the location is great. Backs to the forest and a hiking trail yet it's not a far drive to Sand Harbor, Hidden Beach and others. I would definitely stay here again! »

« Kristina’s home is wonderful - very comfortable, clean, spacious, well-stocked. Great master bed/bath (loved the hammock!), great additional rooms, and cozy living space with a beautiful peaceful deck. We spent a lot of time out in hot tub, grilling and eating out on the patio table in the spectacular forest. Kristina was very accessible, responsive, and helpful. »
