This three-bedroom condo is in exclusive Solare-Bahia Mar, a gated property that offers plenty of options for the entire family to enjoy. The property features two large pristine pools each with a hot tub and an amazingly large beach deck. Enjoy amenities such as two tennis courts, walking trails, kids’ playground and more. Solare-Bahia Mar is a very private property with 24-hour security and is one of the largest properties on the island.

Condo is on a third floor, NO elevator.

HOUSE RULES 
•    Maximum occupancy limit:  8 adults + 2 children (age 12 and under).
•    No invited Guests are allowed.
•    To give access to the property it is necessary to sign the registration form and provide a valid ID (with photo and signature).
•    No smoking allowed
•    Minimum age to rent is 21
•    All persons are required to wear wristbands.
•    Check in begins at 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
•    No pets allowed.
•    Rental includes two parking permits. Additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed into the property for an extra fee. No R.V.'s or motor homes will be allowed on property.
•    BBQ Grills: Available in the designated “Palenque” area. Perfect for a lovely outdoor meal with family or friends. 2 Burner BBQ Grill: $40.00 and 4 Burner BBQ Grill: $50.00
•     Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 and must be present during the entire stay. 
•    We kindly request that guests respect the Resort/HOA rules. Failure to comply with their house policies is grounds for eviction from the property and/or fines vary depending on these rules. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Gorgeous views of the Gulf! 2 wonderful pools and hot ubs.
We went on a girls trip. Beautiful place to stay. The condo was beautifully renovated. The balconies we so wonderful overlooking to Gulf of Mexico. We couls hear the ways. So much fun. Some great places to eat and visit on the island!

Bahia Mar Solare
Check in was very easy, done at the gate with wristbands for all members of our party. We stayed in 380, 2 of 3 bedrooms had direct beach views, and all three bedrooms has an en suite bathroom which was fantastic for extended family and older kids. Master bedroom is up the spiral staircase and there are three balcony areas. Beautiful abd clean, check out was just as easy, just leave the keys with staff at the gate. The condo was well maintained and very comfortable. The property has very nice green spaces and the pool space was open and comfortable; easy super quick access to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay! Of note, only stairs, no elevators.

We had a great stay at this condo. The view was amazing! The place was clean and had modern appointments. The balcony was a great place to have a morning coffee and evening cocktails. The pool was great as well. We will revisit one day.

The condo and view of the ocean were spectacular. Weather could have been a tad nicer but overall great. The pool was nice and beach access great. However, there were not enough chairs at the pool and the hot tub was always completely full of people that stayed in it for hours at a time. Overall a fantastic week.

We were very pleased with our stay! The location is perfect, and view is spectacular. The house was very clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and linens clean. If we needed anything it was provided for us quickly. The only wish list item we would have liked was more dishes/ containers for food and leftovers.

Beautiful condo, very clean, and the views were spectacular. Only suggestions would be to possibly keep foil and plastic wrap on hand in the kitchen, it would have been helpful to be able to cover leftovers or take a sandwich to the beach. Also, google maps has the turn into the property in a weird spot. It actually sends to past the turn and you don't realize it until it's too late and you have to make a U-turn. Other than that would definitely book again.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous location, amazing views. Only complaint was with checkin. After traveling for many hours, they did not have a key for us! Which I know can happen, it’s how it was handled that was not acceptable. No apologies given, left us hanging. One thing with the condo-not a complaint just would be nice to have extra blankets. The bed only had sheet and thin comforter.

We stayed for winter break and the weather was a force to be reckoned with, but after a couple days of bitter cold and vicious winds the sun came out. The condo was nice, some food crumbs on the furniture and stains on the couch. The heater took two days to get up to temp so we were pretty cold. On the last day while making dinner the water went out for a couple hours. And then the dryer gave out, I wanted to each all the towels but I couldn’t, Overall it was a nice stay,

Getting long in the tooth.
The villas here are in dire need of upgrades and rehabilitation. They’re old and have seen lots of wear & tear over the years. They need to be gutted and redone or torn down to start over. We stayed in the Solare tower in July and it is much more up to date, clean and usable.

First time in South Padre Island and it didn’t disappoint nor did this property. Perfect location, clean and had everything you needed. We were concerned there were no elevators with the property being on the 3rd floor but was not a problem. Super close to the beach and the pool. It was awesome to hear the waves crashing from your balcony. We will definitely stay here again!

We are a family of 7. Being a blended family sharing our first holiday together, it was important for me to get everything right. This condo was amazing! There were a few hiccups. After arriving, we found out that we were the first guests to stay after renovations to the place. There were some electrical issues, hot water issues and such but it only took 1 call to make it right. We loved the balcony views! As far as the location itself, we wish the hot tubs were heated and the pools would have been warm but the staff were as friendly as anyone could hope for! We will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone.

The location was great. The condo was close to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. The one issue we experienced was the washing machine in the unit did not work from Wednesday (when we checked in) until Saturday morning, the day before we checked out. I had to call/text repeatedly to get the repair completed.

We have stayed in SPI several times....This time we decided to try a different location .... The property access was easy...Our plane was late and the guard at the gate checked us in.....after midnight.... The bedrooms were spacious and we had 7 people in our party. The three bathrooms also worked out great.... There were three boogie boards in the closet and that helped... The down side was the kitchen and appliances...there was only enough room in the kitchen for one person. The pots, pans and dishes have seen better days--but we did the best we could with what was there. The clothes washing machine was difficult to operate and would not drain and rinse completely. We also ran out of dish washing soap and toilet paper..... We could have also used some disinfectant and glass cleaner..... The security thoroughly checked for our parking pass EVERYTIME we went into the complex.....That was reassuring and appreciated. Overall it was a little pricey for the quality of the amenities....

Issues with the condo
Overall listing is what it was posted to be true the condo clean and nice the only issues were reported to the condo no washing machine that was lit working couldn’t drain are spin so for one night it smell like sewage inside condo the kitchen wasn’t completely stock with utensils had to buy more the two other restrooms water pressure in the shower was a bare minimum also report but with that being said the condo is in a prefect location family friendly neighbors were quiet so overall Pleasant stay would have been better if certain issues didn’t happen
