Decent Stay, Could Be Better
The property had all of conveniences you would expect in a vacation home. That being said, my wife and I were unhappy with how clean the unit was. I understand that this isn't a fancy hotel, but at the very least, I expect the bed linens and the bath towels to be very clean. There was also a sign saying that the homeowner requests to have shoes off. We typically do this at home so we thought it was great until we realized that the floor was actually dirty. Luckily, we always pack a pair of house slippers. We also found hairs on the pillow cases, two of the bath towels, and even the dish rag for some reason. I'm hoping it was from the cleaning service person and not from another person staying there before us. Although, it was obvious that one of those bath towels was used because it didn't just have hair, it was dirty too. Thankfully, there were still two clean towels available for us and extra pillow cases. The extra blankets also had hair on them too though. It just makes me wonder if they were even cleaned at all or if they were just neatly folded and put back. On the positive side, Vacasa, the property manager company, was quick to respond to our issues and offered to make things right. We were only staying two nights at this location so we opted to just let things be. This property could easily be 4 or 5 stars, but due to cleanliness, I'd say 3 stars overall.
