« Very cute cottage. Recent updates to make it look more modern really make a large impact. Check in process was easy and communication with host was always prompt. Cleanliness upon checking in was less than desired. There were a couple dishes left in the sink. As well as a couple other items left uncleaned (large spill located on table and random garbage items left on the back deck). « We booked a family Thanksgiving getaway and couldn't be happier with our choice for accommodation. « First off, the surrounding area and the lake the cottage sits on is absolutely amazing. The lake is very busy with jet skis and lots of boaters. The fishing is decent as well and if you want great, Lake Joseph is only 10 mins down the road. The lot for the cottage is very large, with a nice flat front lawn that was great for family lawn games. The back yard has a gentle slope to the water with a very nicely set up firepit and a nice sandy beach area for the kids to swim. The dock was great...

« The accommodation was a perfect location, right on the water with large lakeside deck, firepit and balcony outside eating area. The water is perfect for swimming of the dock in a narrow bay with minimal boat traffic. We caught a few small fish from the dock. The cottage itself was well equipped. A 5 minute drive into bala for groceries, restaurants etc. we had a fabulous stay and lucky with great weather … highly recommend this location. »
