« The home is comfortable and gorgeous and we loved the wood heater as it was cold enough to use it and we have one like it at home. Proximity to Flinders Chase NP was important for us and the lovely beach was readily accessible for long walks. But what we loved most were the wallabies that came down to the cottage every afternoon for a feed - they were very entertaining and we loved feeding and watching them. »

« Don't be put off by the rocky road ...after 2 km you will reach a birding paradise. John, the owner has a few bird baths and wonderful garden with 3 hanging bird feeders and a water station for the Kangaroos. We loved using Johns place as our base around the island. We stayed a week and had everything we needed to cook during our stay. »

« Jess was a wonderful owner to deal with and her home was very comfortable and homely. Vivonne Bay was a beautiful quiet little area and central to a number of the big sights of KI. Our only issue was being underprepared for dinner on our first night and not really knowing where to go to get a meal but this wasn’t Jess’ fault at all. Just make sure to be prepared! »

« This property is gorgeous. A very private setting with beautiful views of river and bush and we had stunning sunsets to enjoy. The two kyaks were such a bonus as the river was glassy for 2 days while we there. The pool table was fun too even though in need of repair and levelling. A superb spot to go. »
