Needs deep cleaning & repair
Location fantastic. House is generally good. Large, great for a family stay. Very, very, very much in need of a thorough cleaning: door knobs, area around corners light switches, walls all very dirty. Truly with a bit of maintenance, solid, extensive deep cleaning would be an outstanding house.

Daughter’s Wedding in Santa Cruz
We came for my Daughter’s Wedding in town. Since she was the Bride I gave her the Master bedroom. The AirrBnB was clean and well supplied. Loved the big kitchen and the quaint back patio. Lovely place to stay!

Steps from the beach
House is in a great location just half a block from the beach on a quiet street. Host was helpful in answering questions. Very sweet little natural history museum right around the corner. Would recommend for families with children!

Perfect respite
This was the perfect respite for a summer break. The location cant be beat and the townhouse has all of the necessities for a great stay! The house does want for a little updating, but that is not important to me in the long run.

Great location. Close to everything but not crowded or noisy
Yes the home is older, but nice. We had six people and had plenty of room. The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is a five minute walk. The beach is close and the sunsets are outstanding. Would love to return again soon.

Great stay by the beach!
This property was right next to the beach. The house was huge and easily accommodated our friends catching up. The couch & loveseat have seen better days but the property is central to lots of activities so you will likely be out and about a lot.

Great location
This rental is in a great location just steps away from one of Santa Cruz’s best beaches, and near everything/everywhere you want to go, both walking or driving. The home is well-equipped and the layout is functional. Although adequately cleaned, a deep cleaning is needed, and many improvements are indicated: - carpets are stained, torn, and need to be replaced - furniture is old, sagging and needs to be updated - only one working TV (newish, large flatscreen in living room); TV in master is a barely working, old behemoth, never used it due to extremely poor display; old TV in 1 guest room, although plugged in, is not connected to cable, no is just taking up space; no TV in the other guest room - other than in kitchen/dining room, lighting was horrible. No overhead lights in bedrooms, just 1 small, inadequate table lamp in each of 3 bedrooms; no overhead lighting in living room, just 2 inadequate table lamps - bathrooms and showers are adequate, but dated - backyard patio with table is very pleasant area and useful, but hasn’t been cleaned or trimmed, therefore is not inviting. This rental could be outstanding with a moderate owner investment. As is, the price is only commanded by it’s location. Not a good feeling for such a financial outlay, as the owners are pocketing a profit at the exploitation of their clients. We’ll look elsewhere in the future.

I would suggest a few more amenities. More kitchen towels and wash cloths, more Bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths, Kleenex in all the bathrooms. Shampoo, and conditioner and soap for showers. More basic food prep items salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, basic seasonings.

Seabright duplex NOT single family house.
This place was perfect for our family. Loved the location. Very disappointed with shabby, dirty furniture, we removed dirty cushion from dining chair to find old dried food underneath. We were instructed to strip bed linens only to find we slept on mattress covers that were badly stained and in need of washing- gross! The house was dusty and had cobwebs. The trash can outside was overflowing with garbage. The carpets throughout are stained and ragged. It’s a shame they are not keeping up.

Great location! Needs updating.
This home was half a block from the ocean and within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants and beaches. It’s very spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. It had a nice outdoor living space too with BBQ and iron table and chairs. The sofas were well worn and need replacing as well as the carpet. With the additional fees it was double the cost per night advertised.

We had a great week in this perfectly situated Santa Cruz beach house! Only thing to improve upon is the condition of some of the furniture and the organization of the kitchen. Would recommend highly for families and small groups!

Seabright Beach House
The house size, features and location were great as a base for our trip. We were there for over a week so we had a real chance to see how things worked at the location. Easy walk to the Boardwalk and main Beach as well as Seabright beach (Castle Beach to old-timers). Disappointed Water Taxi wasn't running the days we wanted to cross the harbor to get to Crows Nest and Twin Lakes Beach but lots of things on this side of the harbor. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Living area seems dark and windows downstairs don't look out at anything or provide any significant light. Amazing number of light switches on the walls. Never figured out what half of them were for. Called agent over a few issues and they were quick to respond. Great for 5-6 people. We would stay there again.

Excellent location, very close to the beach. Large interior but upgrades urgently and desperately needed. Appliances very old. This is not a single family home but rather a duplex. Too many fees, over priced.

Great location!!
Pros: Walking distance to the beach, and to the boardwalk. Great location! Roomy downstairs. Cons: Lots of fees! Notes in the home instructed is to strip down the beds and make them without the linens. So I don't know how often the blankets are washed. In the pictures all of the beds look to be full sizes and above. False! The double beds were twin sizes, one of the bed frames didn't fit correctly so the metal frame was sticking out, I hit my leg on it a few times. That wasn't fun. The tv in the living room had a big crack, the carpets were badly stained, and the sofas were very worn(there was even a metal piece sticking out that my son scratched his leg on.) We were instructed to leave the house clean, we in fact did, minus vacuuming since their vacuum didn't work. Would we stay here again.... I mean the downstairs was roomy, great location, it was convenient due to walking distances to beach and boardwalk. If they lowered their fees, we would probably stay again... maybe.
