Sanlando Park Tours and Activities

Here are some issues I had with the property: we had to pay extra every day for the water park on top of extra daily "resort fees". The resort feels were 20 dollars per day and per person 25 dollars per day for water park. That was annoying since the website says there were 7 pools available to guests and a water park which led us to believe park was included. Then the wave pool at water park was freezing and the heating components were broken and "back ordered " . The kayaks and paddleboats available for rental were actually not available because of some dangerous algae in the lake that the resort is on. The manager said that the lake had been closed guests since January. But when I checked in and asked about renting a kayak, they told me where to go to rent it and if it's been closed since january, that should have been updated on their website. Also, there is a Delhi on-site where you can get pizza and sandwiches and salads. And the entire time that we were there for a whole week, they did not have any chicken turkey available for sandwiches, and every time I asked, they said they had"run out" but a couple of the days I was there about twenty minutes after they opened up so how could they run out after twenty minutes. The only other downside of this resort.Is it's not really near anything within walking distance?So a car is kind of a necessity. Our family had a wonderful time at this place. We had fun using complimentary poles for fishing, line dancing on Saturday night, renting a golf cart to get around, and roasting marshmallows at the big fire that the staff lights every evening. One word of caution is that there’s no other stores for about 25 minutes drive and the items at the store on property are priced about 3x what they’d be at the grocery store. They seemed to have one woman who worked the drinks stand during the rodeo and the coffee shop in the morning- she did a great job but for the rush they should have had 3 more staff-. Get your own groceries and have fun!!

Everything was great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
