« This place is wonderful and full of Italian character. David, our host, built the house and is very knowledgeable of the area. If you want a peaceful, private jungle getaway, this is the place for you. It is showing some age in places, but we prefer to stay at properties with character instead of the modern, sterile feel that many rentals have. There is no cheap, generic B&B art in this house. It is authentic and charming. Breakfasts on the deck were relaxing, as were evenings in the pool. »

« Our extended family of 9 stayed for 5 nights at Riverwalk. The ranch style home is very well designed for large groups with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. Elias prepared delicious meals, provided tips for exploration, and even a doctor for an unforeseen allergic reaction. Laundry, dishes, cleaning, and baggage were all taken care of seamlessly. We were entertained by Black Iguanas in the garden and the birding right from the front porches. We highly recommend this property! »

« This is a unique setting with two rooms upstairs with the main kitchen and the bedroom downstairs with a mini-kitchen. It is located a few blocks up the hill from Helen’s store, so it was easy to get supplies. Even though it is a bit off of the main roads, the tours we booked had no problem picking us up at our driveway. If you don’t mind a hike, the center of town is walkable from villa maya. Great experience for our family! »

« Beautiful and immaculately maintained property. The tree top unit is very unique and exactly as represented with a five star view. We had a couple of short service issues during our stay (once electrical and once water). Probably just bad timing. Also, several dogs on the property that tended to bark sporadically throughout the night. None of these issues would stop us from staying again. Very much recommend. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay at Villa Cayo in San Ignacio. It’s hard to beat the hill-top views and waking up to the sounds of the jungle! Virginia was a wonderful host and set up all of our tours. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and made our stay really enjoyable. We definitely recommend the ATM cave tour and the Tikal tour. If you are able, don’t miss these two gems! We stayed in Villa 4, a quiet setting with amazing views. We Villa Cayo a 5-star review. »

« Everything about this property was amazing! Monika was probably the best VRBO host we have encountered, Toucan Villa was perfect for four adults, the central location allowed us to easily visit all of the sites on our itinerary, and the large, covered front porch was the perfect spot to spend a rainy afternoon drinking Belizean rum.
