"This place is in a wonderful location. Wooded and right on water. The walk to th shore is made of wood steps. The shore is just peaceful and so natural. "Really enjoyed our stay here. It’s about a 15 minute drive to Bar Harbor, and a 10-15 min drive to a lot of the popular Acadia trails. There is nothing in immediate walking distance and there are very few Ubers, so you definitely need a car to stay in this location. "We had a great stay at the Main Escape. They provided great instructions for an easy check in / out. A couple of personalized tips definitely helped our adventure. Close to the park but nicely outside of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. It was private and nice to have so good space to relax after a day at the park. We didn’t want to leave :)"

"Overall, this was a good place to stay if you wanting a quick and easy place while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia. Would recommend painting lines for parking spots. There were many times it was a tight squeeze to fit in the allotted parking spot due to others. "

"Beautiful location in quiet Salisbury Cove. Only 10 minutes to Acadia National Park visitor center. We had difficulty gaining access to the rental. We were very late arriving to rental and had not received the access code! They were aware that we would be arriving late and said they would send the code to my phone.
