As it happens my colleague and I stayed on a Tuesday and we were eating out with customers, so other than missing out on a quick drink or two at the bar before and after this wasn't too much of an issue - nearest pub we were told was a mile away. By far the biggest issue we had was that there is no way of affecting the temperature in the room, other than a radiator thermostat...
