« Greyfriars was an interesting property. The hotel is on the main street, yet it felt contained, safe and quiet. The unit had plenty of room for 4 and the kitchen was well-stocked. There were chairs on a covered front porch that we shared with one other unit. This is not a fancy hotel but it more than met our needs for an overnight stay. The room was clean and I felt safe. It’s a good property for travelers with children. »

« This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return. »

« Maybe the last people to use the house didn’t clean it properly. All the dishes, pans and cutlery needed washing before they could be used. The bedding was stained. Beautiful location but let down by cleanliness. »
