Great Escape on the Lake

We had a great time at this great location. For those that have a boat, great dock and convenient location within walking distance to the public launch. House was nice for what we were looking for. Older home with updates, clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed using the Blackstone grill, and patio area. If you want a nice home on Torch Lake to spend a weekend good place to consider.

It was a decompression great away to de-stress. Very peaceful place enjoyed our stay. One thing that could improve is furniture couch end tables needed. Couch was uncomfortable no end tables. Snack tray’s would have helped. Other than that our stay was very pleasant.

Northern Michigan vacation

Great location at the southern end of Torch Lake on the sandbar. Central to day trips to Mackinac Island and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Plenty of area restaurants and a close supermarket. No issues with the house or property manager. Would definitely book again.

Great Setting for Time with Friends and Family

We spent a long weekend with 4 adults and three kids under 5 at the Sandbar Escape. The setting was phenomenal for all things Torch. Right next to the Torch River and Sandbar, we took advantage of the great location on the water. House had most everything we needed and was a solid value.

Beautiful view

The house had a great open concept with plenty of windows and double patio doors to enjoy the beautiful views of torch lake. The walk out dock made it easy to get in and out of the lake. Would definitely rent again.

Epitome of summer fun

Immediately after booking I was in communication with the property manager looking for suggestions and tips to have a fabulous vacation. Many great recommendations were made and it was a blast! Not much time was spent inside the cabin, the location on the sandbar is prime but we also enjoyed renting a pontoon to take out further and to look at the homes along the shore and to anchor on the sandbar all day. Also recommend bringing camp chairs and wood to enjoy the fire at night. We can’t wait to return next summer!
