"The property was very clean and well-appointed. The kitchen was stocked very well with lots of appliances, utensils, etc. Comfy beds, two on the main floor with full bath and a loft with full ensuite. Great little deck with bbq, although too cold in Feb to use. 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Rathstrevor Beach, 15 mins to anywhere else - Coombs, the Nature Reserve, Nanaimo. Nice quiet location with lots of privacy. Highly recommend!"

The cottage is set apart in a quiet forested / landscaped area that gives you privacy and great views out every window. This place checks all the boxes. "The carriage home was the perfect size for two people. Tara was fantastic The fill kitchen ( with everything you could need) we great and there was tons of fresh Linens. The only down side was you had to walk through the back yard and that set off the dogs in the house every time. But the area was beautiful and it worked for our needs "

"At first we were a little surprised, but it turned out to be what we needed. Quiet, clean, and the sheets smelled like old fashioned hang dried which was amazing. Wifi was a little weak but we didn’t need it to work, it was nice to unplug for a few days. The recommended Italian restaurant cuckoo in coomes was spectacular was like we were in Italy. Highly recommended"

"We enjoyed our stay at the studio. It’s a compact well equipped studio. The area was very quiet at night. Only a 10min walk to the beach front boardwalk, and about an add’l 5mins on that to the ocean front park. We were glad there was a ceiling fan in the unit, as it was pretty warm when we were there. Leesa was very quick to respond to our late request to checkin early. Was great to be able to unload the car before heading to the music festival."

"Property manager, rental, location….all were excellent. Above and beyond. Stayed for one week. We did a lot of our own cooking and loved that the basics were all provided. Judy made us very aware that she was available if there was anything we needed. Home was clean and well supplied….right down to the coffee and laundry detergent. Felt like home. Appreciated the suggestion book of favourites. The area is amazing. We did a couple of hikes a day as well as taking in some other activities...

The cabin is lovely, exactly as described and it has a the essential. Little plus, there was the basics for cooking (oil, sal and pepper).
