« We loved our stay here on Townsend Lake! The view was beautiful through the large windows and we enjoyed looking out at the snow-covered cedar trees. The driveway was plowed and walk shovelled upon our arrival. We were warm and the beds and couches were comfortable. The cottage was clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies and other items such as board games. The sauna was a nice treat. Lovely touches in the decor - clearly a well maintained and thoughtful space. »

« This was our second stay at this property and it was every bit as good as our first one, just the seasons were different. This is an excellent property. It is well maintained, well stocked and very useful. « We stayed at Shasta cottage with our daughter and her family for an early Christmas. We live in PEI and wanted a place we could all stay. Shasta cottage is a beautiful place and we had everything we needed to do a bbq turkey dinner. The host was very nice and came to meet us the night we got there. « Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Very nice interior and plenty of room to accommodate six adults. The grounds outside needed a good grooming. We saw quite a few garter snakes on the grounds and the deck. The Front porch could use a railing for safety and the back deck railing could also be made a little sturdier for safety. The host responded very promptly to any questions we had. »

« Had a really nice stay. Cottage is cute and was very clean. Great location - minutes from the town of Flesherton but property feels like we are isolated, very peaceful- good home base for our day trips. Caution that the third bedroom does not have 4 walls & you have to walk through it to get to the master bedroom. Not a problem for us as we only needed 2 bedrooms but I wouldn’t have wanted that one. »

« Had a great time over a fall weekend with 8 adults. The property is close to hiking trails which we took advantage of, the hot tub was super clean. Everything was clean and well kept. We didn't read the listing very well and thought that the four bedrooms each had at least a double in it, but we didn't realize that one bedroom is only a twin. Property might not be the best for four married couples unless people are ok with sharing a room between two or three couples. We figured it out anyways...
