The lower living level has a well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dining area that seats 6 plus 2 at the breakfast bar. Great location to introduce my family to Troutdale; walking distance to downtown. And the new Troutdale Station, and right close to the Edgefield concert venue. We had a wonderful time and the owners couldn’t have been nicer or more easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

Awesome stay

Communication was great with Helen, she helped us through every way. Even when I had some phone issues and had trouble connecting, she was in touch via different channels. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for the stay. It's a short walk to the downtown troutdale and the food in the restaurants were good. It's close to mt hood and Columbia gorge sights, though the falls were closed, plan in advance.

Great Location & Very Clean

Property was very clean and in a great location for visiting the Portland area without actually staying in Portland. It is situated near the Troutdale Outlet Mall, Troutdale's Historic District, and near Glenn Otto park along the Sandy River, which offered a great family walk and adventure. I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again myself!

Very helpful owners

The property was clean and well laid out. The owners went above and beyond in trying to be available and helpful. There were additional Thanksgiving decorations and some welcoming treats when we arrived. The location is pretty convenient, but one should be aware that it is close to a railroad and in the flight path to Portland International Airport. Neither is likely to wake you up but you are aware of them. The owners have done a nice job of furnishing basics like napkins, salt & pepper, etc. Some corners had been cut. For example we tried to whip cream with the hand mixer and discovered it was really bad. One problem that took us a couple of nights to figure out was the heat in the master bedroom. We think it is the hottest room in the house. We were really hot the first night (temperature outside in the 30's). We were reluctant to open the sliding glass door with the furnace on. The second night we used the ceiling fan, but really did not find a solution until we turned the furnace off the third night. All in all, we would give the owners' service and housekeeping an enthusiastic five stars, but the facility about four with enough overall challenges for us to keep the overall rating at four stars.

Great town to visit the Falls From!

Troutdale is a beautiful little town and DaGorge is a wonderful spot to stay in! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here: quiet neighborhood, walking distance to restaurants and bars and parks, and all the comforts of home :-) Helen is great at communicating information for arrival and activities while in the area. Great Location and Host

We, two adult couples stayed here and Helen was a great host very communicative and the townhouse was great. We asked to check in a little early and she got right back to us with an okay. It's a very comfortable home and such a great location with nice restaurants and shops only a block away and so close to the Gorge, where we enjoyed exploring, hiking and even crossed over to Washington State. Thanks Helen, we'll put you at the top of out list the next time we are in the area.

DaGorge Townhome

We throughly enjoyed out time at this townhome!! It is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Troutdale, with easy access on and off the highway. This townhome was exceptionally clean and very comfortable! The beds and sheets were lovely. The house was spotless. The kitchen has everything you need. The host was prompt and available when we needed them. We will definitely be staying here again!

It was ideally suited for us and enabled us to do everything we had hoped to.

The house was exactly what we wanted with three nice bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms so we could all get ready without any delay. The place was neat and well furnished. We were able to make meals or snacks when we wanted like for the Packers on Monday night. The location worked very well since it was relatively close to Portland but far enough outside of town to make driving easy

Weekend stay for Bridge of the Gods half marathon

We needed a place to stay near Cascade Locks, Oregon for the race on August 12. There was going to be 5 to 6 of us and we didn't want to have to get two hotel rooms. Troutdale is exactly a 30 minute drive to the race start/finish. I am so glad we came across this townhouse! It fit our needs perfectly! The place was spotless and so inviting! It was a two block walk to cute shops and restaurants in Troutdale. I would stay here again. Thanks to Helen and Thaddeus for paying attention to details and letting others stay in their beautiful home!

Very clean and well appointed home in an ideal location between Portland and the Gorge.

We really enjoyed this home. It fit our family of 6 quite nicely. The home was well appointed and was steps away from downtown Troutdale's shops and restaurants. We spent 3 nights and was an easy 15 minute drive to Downtown Portland and then at the perfect starting point to a Columbia River Gorge adventure. Central AC and cable TV were nice additions that made our stay more comfortable.
