« Second visit here, lovely welcoming hotel with a super breakfast and parking right outside which is great for Polperro. Hotel right in the heart of the village , great for the harbour , pubs and eateries . Only downside for us was the room in the attic number 12 , not for us the staff called it the marmite room you either love it or hate it and we were the latter , to much pine a very small toilet next to the bed and dated . »

« The cottage is in a stunning location and has great views of the harbour from the terrace and main bedrooms. There are plenty of bathrooms, and space for a large group to spread out. Unfortunately there were a number of minor maintenance issues which let the place down, and be aware that the arrival is stressful if you have a large car. Overall we had a great time »

« Just returned from a week’s holiday with my husband. It’s the perfect location over looking the harbour & so close to restaurants & pubs. The house has the best of both worlds, with a sympathetic renovation, with all mod cons & spotlessly clean & Jonathan is the perfect host. The only thing I would say is there are a lot of dogs with visiting holiday makers & some aren’t so responsible with picking up after them, but that didn’t spoil my stay at the house & we will be returning. Just mind where...

« The house is very near the harbour, which is good, but it’s a basement flat, so it’s pretty dark and you need the lights on all the time. Also, the ceilings are low and my 6ft tall husband kept forgetting and banging his head. You definitely need to book the luggage taxi as the designated car parking space is up a very steep, narrow hill. Well situated for walking the southwest coastal path. »
