Make Sure you write down the 6 digit code from the owner as VRBO sent an incorrect 4 digit code and you’ll have to drive half way to Cortez to get a signal. Interior really needs an update We splurged 2 on 4 new wine glasses at the thrift store. Rustic ands bit messy. Good for dogs. »

« My sister and I stayed at the Bird's Nest in late Sept. 2024. It was fabulous. Very quiet and comfortable. We loved the deck for watching the sunrise/sunset with a glass of wine. Very quiet. The kitchen was so well stocked. The location couldn't have been better for visiting Mesa Verde. Jeff and his wife were wonderful hosts - answered questions quickly and were available for restaurant recommendations :) »

« Exactly what we were looking for—space AWAY from busy life, while we explored SW Colorado. Incredible views during the day, gorgeous sunrises/sunsets, and really dark night skies for excellent stargazing. As far as “tiny homes” go, this one certainly utilizes space efficiently!
