« The home is across the street from the lake, so the view from the balcony is beautiful. As with all homes with a great sunset view, the house gets warm in the afternoon, but it wasn’t overwhelming. The kitchen was very well stocked. The driveway is long, so parking was easy. The bedding was comfortable. Julie was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We loved our stay. »

« The Ocotillo is such a wonderful place to get away. It's remote, beautiful and peaceful. This is the second time we've stayed at the Ocotillo and we will likely return. Lara, the owner, is lovely and helpful. The home is on what seems to be a perfectly situated corner of Yucca Valley - with breathtaking views of the mountains and Joshua trees. Usually we go to the beach but we tried something new and rented this beautiful VRBO in Big Bear Lake! It was perfect! Very clean with lots of amenities. « House is gorgeous and perfect set up for larger groups. Has a very well stocked kitchen as well. There were a few incidents like sewage smell that I guess has been an ongoing thing, and we had one of the house large pool rafts explode and had to deal with the little white beads literally all over the patio and pool. These things were addressed in a timely manner however. All in all a great home and area. »
