« From the time we stepped into this quint cottage my husband loved it!! It was sad it was colder than we had hoped but we still laid in the hammock rolledUp in a blanket and watched the people in boats racing by and watch them fish. The house has everything you need and it is small but never felt cramped. We will definitely be back to experience this in better weather! Can’t wait to try out the kayaks and sit on the dock with a book and a drink! »

It’s in a great neighborhood close to everything. I felt very safe. My pup absolutely loved the huge fenced in backyard. Communication with our host was perfect. « My Mom and I stayed here for a weekend trip. It was perfect for the two of us! Easy access from the driveway. It is very convenient to downtown Shelby. We absolutely love the interior design and beautiful arrangements. We will definitely book this again next time we visit Shelby. »

« We visited this home during the Thanksgiving holiday 2024. The house appears brand new, inside and out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautiful. The kitchen is modern and has everything you could want in a rental for preparing meals. The backyard is lovely with a firepit, gas grill and patio. « The cottage though small is very well appointed with kitchen and laundry appliances, The bathroom is also done well except there is no heating unit. We were there at Christmas and the night temperatures were near or at freezing. While the rest of the cottage was comfortable, the bathroom was very cold in the mornings. »

« The hosts did a fantastic job and had all of the needed amenities and everything was very clean and organized. It is a private cottage behind their main house but it is like you have your own place which we really needed for the weekend! I had an extended stay ( 15 days) while my son was at HPU - my husband stayed for 2 nights then I was solo until my mom and sister arrived for a week then solo until check out. « This is a charming home near High Point University which was perfect for us to attend graduation. It is exactly as it is presented in the pictures. « You know it's a good place when everybody says, "It's better than the pictures!" It was. Nice big table for meals, puzzles, and games. The porch was comfortable for watching the gorgeous sunsets. We walked down to the dock to enjoy the water. Great view of the water from the downstairs bedroom/game room, too. Foosball was different and fun. All-in-all a comfortable place to stay for one couple and two single adults. We hope to stay here again. »

"Avons séjourné une nuit en direction de la Floride apres 15 hrs de route,etions trois adultes ainés,avons pris une suite avec une chambre fermée et salon, on nous a attribué une chambre au dessus de la piscine ou des jeunes ont crié jusqu’à la fermeture. Pas vraiment apprécié, on quittait tot le lendemain et etions épuisé de la route.Adresse au Quebec,devait bien se douter du trajet parcouru."
