The Big Chill offers something for folks of all ages and tastes, from tacos and tequila, to wings, burgers and shakes, a stop here is quick, tasty and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn. The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Grouper Reef, deployed in 2017\. Located just 970 feet out from the Inlet Beach access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Grouper Reef is at a depth of 12-21 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Felt like a little neighborhood nestled in the trees
and we lucked out with a few quiet neighbors. 8 min bike ride to Alys beach. Nice coffee spot there. Lots more activity in Rosemary beach if you want. 10 min ride the other direction to shops/food. The bikes were a real asset. The pool was perfect.The ocean and beach pristine with easy access. Public beach access close by too. It worked for us. We chose to not rent a car so used Uber & Lyft. If you want to be where there’s more action go to the towns further East and West. Also used a few apps to have groceries delivered. We felt like the Magnolia cottage was a gem. Only issue was the main TV is not Smart, so couldn't stream our apps. Had to move the smaller tv from the bedroom into the living room for the week. Excellent location and we think this area is perfectly situated between seaside and Rosemary beach. House is short walk to beach and pool. Highly recommend using La Dolce Vida chair service for beach chair rentals. Excelllent communication and response times from property management. The property is comfortable and within a 2 minute walk to the pool and 7 minute walk to the beach.
