« The place smelled really bad. Probably from the old carpets that have been used for years and never deep cleaned. Also the sheets had stains on them. The gym had maybe one working machine and everything else was breaking apart. We found other people’s hairs in our bathroom towels. The knife provided was almost unusable and we were awoken by the fire alarm going off at 4 am just to find out it was a false alarm…never coming back. »

« Slept 8 adults easily. Very clean. Easy access to Disney property tram to park. Nice to have comfy couch, table and kitchen. Pool and patio was nice. Had to go around through backyard gates to get to patio but that worked. Well stocked with dishes. Nice to have access to laundry and three bathrooms. Quiet neighborhood. Driveway is single lane so had to juggle cars frequently but it worked as long as keys for cars were left. »

« My daughter and her friends wanted a trip to finish their senior year with a bang. Plus wanted to try adulting! 😂This place was perfect. I got my space, they got theirs. Close to lots of places, very quiet and we all loved the mattresses 😉. Best sleep in a long time. Would highly recommend this place. The owner was very easy to work with. They adults very well. »

« Our group of grandparents down to grandkids were here for a wedding. We had several big teenage boys and the accommodations were great. The large room worked quite well for all of us to be together without being crowded. It is a well-equipped house and the book of information quite complete. Our previous questions were answered promptly. We enjoyed the fireworks also. There are a few minor things around the house that could be improved on but overall, it was a very pleasant stay. »

« The location was perfect. Not too close to the port where it was really busy with people. We loved being able to walk over to the beach or ride the bikes to the pier for shopping and eating. Our beds were so comfortable. Dave was amazing at quick to respond to any questions we had. This was such a fun and relaxing vacation for us. »

Only minor consideration was perhaps a maintenance review should be completed for loose fixtures given likely volume of guest bookings over time. « Initially, I was shocked of how small this hotel is, with no elevator, no vending machine…. But it grew on me. Loved the layout of the room, the quaint decor… the only negative I have is the bed. This memory foam bed was way too soft, and I felt that the soft mattress was on top of a softer mattress. I like to sleep on my side, and I slept curved like a banana…. Also, you only get one pouch of coffee during your stay. Since you need filters, you either have to uy a full box and your ground...

« Staff were friendly and helpful. The property was nice and very close to the Long Beach Convention center. Basically, it only took 4-5 minutes to walk there from the dock. Additionally, there are several restaurants and a few shops in the immediate vicinity. The primary concerns were the number of homeless people surrounding the area and the somewhat limited parking for overnight accommodations. Overall, it was a memorable experience. »
