Broadmoor 605- Super close to Flora Bama!

Broadmoor BM605, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8. The Broadmoor will become your vacation destination year after year! This building has been completely renovated. This unit is an end unit on the 6th floor on the west side of the building. The views are breathtaking from all areas of this unit. It is a huge 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit. Tile floors throughout with updated kitchen and baths. You have 2 master suites with king beds and the 3rd bedroom has twin beds. There are 2 blow up mattresses that the kids can use for extra sleeping space.

There are 2 dining areas, with plenty of space for everyone - the breakfast room has windows on 3 sides, you have views of the beach, Ole River, The Alabama Point did we say the beach??? You have large expansive, unobstructed views. What a great place to spend your morning sipping coffee or reading the paper! This unit is fully equipped with dishes and cookware and all the comforts of home. Come relax, you'll never want to leave!!

2 Vehicles allowed per reservation - parking passes are $40 per pass - owner pays for one pass, so if you need 2 passes you only pay an additional $40!

Love the condo, but parking was atrocious.
I truly enjoyed our stay. The unit was spacious and clean. The parking area absolutely horrible. The parking deck/garage is undergoing renovations in an already difficult to maneuver parking area. I wish the listing shared communication about overflow parking instructions.

Location and unit were great! For two families, the three beds/baths were perfect for the six of us. Parking garage was small with extremely tight spaces. Thankfully, due to the size of our vehicle, we were able to park outside the garage with no issues. Will not hesitate to book again!

There was an issue getting in due to maintenance mistakenly locking the deadbolt. This issue caused me a 2 hours delayed being able to access the condo. Although this was an issue I still recommend this place for it's cleanliness, amenities and comfort away from home.

Without a doubt, this was one of the best vacation stays we have ever experienced. The unit was cozy, well equipped with everything one may need and the view of the coast was stunning! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR PEACE AND QUIET
DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY UNTIL ALL CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATIONS ARE 100% COMPLETE. I booked this rental in January 2022 and nothing was mentioned about construction and renovations. The unit description did mention that the pool was closed BUT would be open on June 1. When we arrived, there was constant noise in our unit from 7:30-4:45. The pool was closed. The deck was closed. Our balcony was closed. Parking was terrible. The construction workers were on our balcony for 1 full day. So before booking, get 100% confirmation that the renovations are complete.

No notification of construction.
We were never notified that our unit balcony and our outside of building was under construction. The pool was also closed because of all the Construction. So many renters of units in this building were not made aware of the construction and closed pool. We could not use our balcony because they started every day at 7am scaffolding up and down our side of the building, sandblasting and scraping the balconies and side of the building. We had no curtains by the balcony door wall and had workers on our balcony scraping, patching holes and stuccoing. We had to keep all the curtains and shutters closed on all sides because they had scaffolding going up and down the building. The windows and the balcony area had debris from the construction on them. You couldn't look out any of the windows or the doorwall because of this. We had no warning that the workers would be on our deck, we had no privacy all day and everyday. When we contacted the owners they had no sympathy for the huge inconvenience and blamed everything on hurricane Sally, which was 2 years ago. This building was the only one we saw in the area that was in such bad shape. We met people coming in and they had no warning of this work or that the pool was closed. The unit itself was ok. Needed a good cleaning and a few repairs. The master bathroom shower is a round sliding door and it was off the tracks at the bottom of it and this was told to the owners over 1 year ago about it. The unit floors were filthy and there was sans everywhere. This was before we even had been in the unit. In order to go to the beach you had to go through the parking lot and go around the building on the outside, on a unstable make shift passage way that you had to be very careful not to trip or fall, a happicapped person could not use this walk way. We have been using VRBO for over 15 years and have never experienced anything this terrible. We were always notified before hand of an issue, and given a choice to get refunded and go somewhere else or they gave use compensation for an inconvenience. But never like this kind of issue. I feel sorry for any one who has the units here and don't know if the issues here. They were not giving anyone any notice until you entered the condo or if they did it was when it was too late for you to change your plans. There was no refunds of your money either. After discussing this several times they gave us 1 day refund. Very disgusted with the condo management.

Good news - bad news
I love Broadmoor. I've stayed there several times. However, the building itself is in great need of a face (and structural) facelift. Our condo itself was lovely. Very spacious and the feeling of lots of privacy in the placement of the 3 bedrooms. The only criticism of the condo was the shower in the master bedroom: it is in desperate need of a good mold/mildew scrubbing, and the rounded door is off the track at the bottom, which made one wonder if it was going to fall! The remainder of the condo was very clean. Another frustrating element was the fact that construction workers were pressure washing and painting the outside of the building. Not only was the noise an interference to the peace of the beach, but, as we were in the swimming pool, the mist from the pressure washing was raining down on us. Not a good feeling! Also, on the parking level, there were 20 - yes, I counted them - 20 "braces" from floor to ceiling, as if propping up the building. Scary in light of recent events. Would I stay here in the future? Yes, probably. I do believe the pros outweigh the cons. And hopefully by the time I would return, the construction will be completed!

Great place!! View is amazing! Beach is at your feet within minutes- just a short elevator ride. Condo was huge- make sure to bring your extras- toilet paper; paper towels; dishwasher soap; spices; sponges. Stores are within 15 min. Can’t wait to go back already and I just left yesterday!!!

My experience was good. There were 5 of us. There are plenty of rooms for us. The unit has 3 BR with attached bath, 3. The layout of the unit is awesome. I love our master suite with a reading area and awesome view of the beach.

It was amazing. The shower knob in the master is messed up so I could only get straight hot or cold water depending on how I turned it and no Hot water in the master sink. No big deal though. Everything else was perfect 🤩
