Nice House
It was a very nice area and house. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. We unfortunately did not have any internet until 9pm which caused an issue as there was a person that needed to work remotely as soon as we got there and was unable to. The appliances were new and there was plenty of room for all of us. One of the main complaints we all had was that the furniture is WAY overdue for replacement. The couches were extremely uncomfortable, also the handles of the recliners were all broken. The downstairs couch was extremely hard to sit at. The second complaint/suggestion should be that the listing should have listed that the house was on an extremely long uphill dirt road and driveway. To be honest we would have not booked it if we new that as we all have cars and none of us own a truck. The mud was very deep and we almost got stuck twice. Overall we did enjoy ourselves, everything was clean, we would think about going back if those issues get resolved.

Wonderful Christmas Stay
Our family had a wonderful time at White Mountain Retreat. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed, there was plenty of space for parents and cousins, and the owners were very responsive and helpful throughout the process. We would definitely stay again!!

We keep coming back!
This is our family's 4th time here! 9 of us, aged 9-40's. Location is great, lake is divine. Quick trips into Woodstock, Lost River and Littleton made for great memories. Happy to see the cookware was upgraded! Will visit again next summer!

Great Potential
This property has good potential but the kitchen and the linens need to be updated. There are a lot of broken, missing, and non-working kitchen essentials (can opener, crock without a pot, hood fan for gas burners, etc). Some dishes were dirty and the bunkbeds were unmade when we arrived. I never received a reply to either of my messages. I didn’t even have a way to communicate with the host except through the app. There were a lot of used items left behind in the rooms like tissues, socks, and a bra. The housecleaning needs to improve. The bathroom towels are pretty shredded. Other than that, the home itself is great and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. A few more rugs on the concrete bedroom floors would also be nice.

Great Home!
The property was exactly what you would expect for a mountain retreat. Perfect place for a family get together. So much to do in the area for everyone. Nice hot showers after a long day on the lake. Just pack some clothes and food and everything else is there for you!

Great cabin in the woods!
Beautiful home. Comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Loved the 3 bathrooms with our 8 people it was a plus! Beautiful setting, and really close to stores, even though you feel like you are a long way from town. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The only negative would be that there was no dishwasher tabs or liquid, but other than that the immenities were great.

Nice House in the Mountains
The house itself is very nice and big enough. We never got resolve on having no internet or tv the entire time despite back and fourth communications. Property manager was very communicative and professional and I do not blame her but unfortunately our issues with these things never got resolved and one person left early because they had to work remotely one day and could not. I'm am not much for tv but we had a few bad days of rain where tv could have come in handy.

Cabin in the Sky
We really enjoyed our stay but I would make some improvements first I would invest in new cookware second and this a big one we had no tv service we tried and there was no wiring for the downstairs TV so we couldn’t even hook up a DVD player as for myself I was fine without TV but my grandchildren were having withdrawals. The beds were comfortable but the living room furniture needs to be replaced due to the fact that they reclining furniture but they fail to decline. The cabin was perfect for our family and I would for sure rent again. Thank You

Enough room for everyone
I took my friends and family for a summer vacation at this house. There was plenty of space for 4 kids and 7 adults. The lake is not close enough to walk to, but it's a short drive away. The TV was tricky to figure out, only the one upstairs hooked to the Roku works, dvd players do not. There is games to play and the fire pit was nice. It was clean and there's plenty of utensils and pots/pans in the kitchen. I would rent this property again.

Wonderful vacation….
We had a wonderful time for the full week we were there ….. cooked fantastic meals in the fully stocked kitchen enjoyed sitting out on deck and made full use of the fire pit with nightly s’mores.,,,beds were extremely comfortable,,,, hopefully we will return again .,,,

The size and location of this home was perfect for our stay and the price can't be be beat. We had 10 family members and 5 dogs with us. The home itself had a few broken, worn items, but honestly, none of those things effected our stay much. We enjoyed our time here and would chose to stay here again.

Family Vacation
The house was very clean and most of the supplies we needed were provided. Better pots and pans would be helpful. There was plenty of room for everyone, 10 people and 3 dogs. The downstairs furniture was uncomfortable as well as the beds. The wifi was unreliable and the roku was out of date. Bring board games and books. We enjoyed the pool, and the lake and rented kayaks. Overall a great experience.

Very roomy and comfortable
We stayed with our 6 kids age 1-13. There was plenty of room to spread out, with a TV room on each floor, and three bathrooms came in handy for a large family such as ours. Everyone found the beds very comfortable!

Big Disappointment
This house is not what we had hoped for. We arrived in the evening and it was hard to find. No lights left on. No information booklet for the property. Once inside and settled we wanted to make some simple grilled sandwiches only to discover the cookware was horrible. Scratched, stained and dirty. Totally unusable. I messaged the property manager and she said she was unaware but a recent review mentioned the same displeasure which she had then replied to. We had to buy our own frying pan for the weekend; along with other necessities. The oven was very dirty too. The house is very worn down and could be made nice with some TLC. The WI-FI information was invalid as well. Good thing my son brought two hot spots with him. The only good things were the decent bathrooms and the location. Think twice about renting this one. We have stayed at 6 different homes in the White Mountains area and this one was a Big Disappointment !

Nice weekend
Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Slow satellite internet and outdated Roku with compatibility issues with many apps. Bring a book and don't plan on working remotely. Other than that, no issues.
