"I like that it was modern. I liked having both the sheer and blackout curtains. The staff were all very nice. It's within a 2-3 block walk to the train station in either direction. The temperature control was great. Being able to open the window/door to the outside every morning was nice.
There are not a lot of dining or tourist options close by. You will be learning the trains!
I was there for about 3 weeks. A washer and dryer on location would've been nice.
A microwave in the room would also...
"Love this hotel. It’s hard to find more style for your pound (or Euro etc). Top craft beers in the bar and the egg and bacon naan roll for breakfast are personal highlights. Also like the friendly informality alongside the smart service. Great comfy beds too. A winner all round!"

"Alt i alt et fint hotel, dog meget lydt ud til gangen så når folk kommer hjem eller skal ud kl 7:00 om morgenen kan du høre det. Lidt træls, men ellers fint hotel"

"The best thing about this property is the location. It is a 2 minute walk to checkpoint Charlie, which is on a Main Street (Frederick strasse). I picked this so that I could walk out the door, grab breakfast at McDonald’s and then onto the big red bus. It went perfectly. At night it’s a little walk down Frederick Strasse to restaurants. The room was clean and adequate. If I was to make any complaint it would be that the pull out couch was uncomfortable but that’s why a 20 year old slept on it instead of an old man. I would definitely stay here again.

"If you’re reading this review and you’re on the fence about staying at the Steinenberger, save your time and just book it. I’m an avid review reader and am here to say that words cannot describe how amazing our stay was!!!
You step outside the Hauptbahnhof (on the side with the Rewe to boot) and you’re already there. The grounds were gorgeous and felt super safe. We were greeted by Onur (spelling?) and the residential robot cat, Ella. I’ve never walked into a hotel so happy, and we walked up to the room even happier.
Onur might be the best concierge we have ever met. What an amazing representation of your awesome city—recommending personalized sites for us to see that transcend the typical Berlin experience as well as recommended food and convenient spots near the hotel we’d need to know. He was beyond delightful and set the stage for the next two days.
The rooms? Immaculate. Virtually silent. Completely spotless, beautiful lighting. We didn’t really have a view, but didn’t really need one thanks to jet lag. We enjoyed several hours of Bernd das Brot on the tv. The bed was unbeLIEVABLY comfortable. If we were in any other city I’d had just stayed in bed all day. The soft pillow changed my life. The bathroom was swanky and beautiful,…the SHOWER?! Water pressure was supreme, temperature, impeccable. Housekeeping was awesome.
I’m getting cut short here but have to say this hotel really set off Berlin for us. It breaks my heart to leave. You can’t go wrong with this hotel! "

"Lovely stay, great location, helpful staff. Only thing missing were bath robes in the suites. However, that’s not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay again. Thank you 😊"
