"Be careful not to get this one mixed up with the other central hotel in Luxembourg, this one is on Rue Du Kiem in Neudorf (short distance to Kirchberg). Yes, there were a few niggles here and there, but my general feelings about the Central were good. The room was nice and modern, the bed comfortable and the room quiet and a comfortable temperature. We visited in October and all was fine, however the hotel does not have any air conditioning, so in the summer months, things may be different....

"Great apartment and friendly staff. Onsite pay parking. Groceries next door. No microwave, no oven, just a stove. Individual water supply for each apartment so not enough hot water for 5 adults in the large apartment. Not bath plug for the bath so showers only. Fixing the bath plug and adding a microwave would have made it a great experience."

"Overall, an excellent experience. The La Sapiniere had a real apartment feel to it and I could easily see my family and I staying here again. The apartment is well stocked with just about everything that a guest might need to include dishes, toiletries, bedding/linens, cleaning products, and vacuum. "Clean . Well equipped. well located. Payable In door parking ( a bit pricey). Very good and quick response customer service. Unfortunately our 3rd floor apartment shower hot water not working. We found out until at the night shower time. Luckily, office still got a guy in. He sort it out and swap the apartment down to 1st floor straight away. Other than that ,it was a lovely place to stay over in Luxembourg. "

"It wasn’t nosy for us, but our neighbors from upstairs where complaining that we where to nosy, but we just chit chatting… Verry nice place to stay, good look appartement and not dirty. Good beds to sleep. "

"Alles wie erwartet!"

"The place was great and spacious. Lots of sunlight. Free underground parking. Small-to-Medium-sized bedrooms. Spacious bathroom and small but useful half bathroom. Nice small kitsch with excellent oven-microwave (used it to make frozen pizza). Bus stop right across from the building (all public transportation is free in Luxembourg)."

Historic downtown is 15 minutes walking distance. Parking can be tricky..but free spots can be found. Watch out -main road access is a one way road. "

"We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

This is a wonderful property but the hosts are the key to a terrific time.If your trip is for business the internet is slow for large uploads and downloads, but that is Germany in general, not the best internet in all the B&B’s in Germany to include hotels.But if you are looking for a tranquil retreat, a beautiful house, location and one of the best hosts I have ever had, this is the place for you."

"The owner was very good at communicating, although I only gave a 3 for accuracy of the listing because it stated there was a washing machine but one was not available. We were on a 3 week vacation so we were hoping to do some washing. However the kitchen was very well set up with an abundance of coffee and tea. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. "We stayed at Leiwen for 6 days and had a fantastic time. It is a quaint, little German town on the Mosel. We walked everywhere in the town: information center, bakery, grocery, pubs, and restaurants. Took a bus to Treir, Mosel river cruise to Berncastle, car trip to Berg Eltz castle. The cottage was much more than we imagined. It had a very comfortable living area with back yard and patio."
