Trouble getting into accommodation as keysafe was frozen, but landlord was reluctant to come out as he lived one hour away. We had to unfreeze ourselves. Some crockery & glasses were chipped. Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely break
Great little 4 night break. Love the setting in the wood and the non cramped feeling compared to other parks I have stayed in. Accommodation as described and the kids loved the hot tub. Only slight downside is the internet was very slow.

Found the interior claustrophobic, and the shower being capped in the main bathroom difficult with 4 people. The hot tub was brilliant, it is a shame the golf course is being neglected.

Stayed on the site before and this by far is the best lodge ive stayed in. The lodge was lovely, clean, has a homely feel to it. Would definitely book again to stay.

Great lodge
Great lodge with everything you need. Really nice and spacious, the whole family loved the ‘log cabin’ feel to it. Location is great as a base to visit nearby Amble, Alnwick and other lovely little towns. I would say the lodge needs a few bulbs changing etc but other than that, I would definitely recommend and I will probably book again in the future! Thanks for a lovely staycation!

Very clean and well presented in a peaceful location. The Lodge was well equipped and the WiFi was good. Great location to visit nearby beaches, castles etc. Lovely hot tub in a nice secluded patio area. Would definitely recommend and will go back in the future.

Just what we needed to get away from it all. Everything we needed was in the caravan and the hot tub and sunshine really did help! Lovely deco throughout and a nice quiet area. Thank you

Run down and let down by cleanliness......
The property is large and offers all the amenities you would hope for. However, we had to spend the first two hours upon arrival cleaning the property, sweeping up broken glass from around the hot-tub and picking up dog poo from the patio. The electric fire doesn't work, neither does the outdoor heating and the hot-tub had no cholrine tablet and the filter was in parts on the floor. Hot tap in main bathroom is broken and in general the accommodation needs some repairs and renewals. I object to being charged a cleaning fee when the property was dirty upon arrival and dangerous to our children. Complained to owner and was offered a discount off future booking - won't be booking again sadly.

Perfect!
We enjoyed a lovely stay in the lodge it was exactly what we needed. The lodge is clean and cosy with a superb hot tub. Located 10 mins from alnwick castle. Wayne was really easy to get hold of and was always on hand to answer any questions we had! Will defo stay again!

Cragside Lodge
Stayed here for 4 days with the family and everything was lovely. Checking in was easy through direct communication with the manager, the lodge itself is spacious and comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Lodge also has full connectivity with Netflix & Amazon Prime in case the weather is bad! Location is excellent, right on the edge of the park with no through traffic. Peaceful views of the surrounding countryside from the comfort of the hot tub really topped off our stay on the final day!! Overall I would strongly recommend the property.
