Appartement indépendant, 2 niveaux avec 2 chambres indépendantes et fermées, en bon état et pratique dans maison liée à l'histoire de la ville. Entretien facile et accueil personnel sur place. Possibilité de location de linge, service ménage sur option. Gare à 20mn (à pieds) donc possible d'arriver/partir par TGV. Si voiture .. parking à 50 à 100 m (en fonction saison)
'Palais des Princes' pourquoi ?: L'appartement HomeAway Abritel 590677 se situe dans le centre historique de la ville (la construction de la maison par la famille Grimaldi en 1650 Jean II grand bienfaiteur de la ville y habita !).
Les bâtiments ont été rénovés et les façades ravalées en 2010.

2 min de la Cathédrale St Michel, 'Palais des Princes', Vieille Ville Menton, maison classée du XVIIéme
5 min du centre piéton avec un traditionnel marché couvert, des boutiques et restaurants
2 min de la plage des Sablettes (par Traversée des Diamants), avec un centre des jeux pour les enfants.
Le centre de la Ville et la promenade sont entièrement accessibles à pieds. La rue Longue est accessible aussi pour les voitures temporairement ,ce qui permet de déposer des bagages, d'avoir un taxi etc. Mais elle devient piétonne et le parking est à 50 mètre Place St Julien ou un petit peu plus loin dans l'avenue Laurenti. En général on y laisse la voiture et allons à pieds dans la ville c'est + facile avec la circulation dans la ville organisée par sens uniques. L'appartement est au dernier étage (4ème) avec vue sur mer et montagne vers l'Italie !
Pour la gare TGV : Pour la gare TGV :descendre à 'Menton centre' et non 'Garavan'
Il est facile de venir à pieds (compter 20mn avec valises à roulettes nous l'avons fait avec ... des enfants)
L’accueil sera assuré par Mme Delphine AMATO . Nous vous transmettrons ses coordonnées au moment de votre réservation ferme. Un service de drap, couvertures et serviettes de toilette vous sera proposé à la réception des clefs.
Une location de linge et le service de ménage sont possibles sur place si vous le désirez.
Les tarifs de location des draps à voir avec Delphine : serviette de bain,draps lit simple, draps lits doubles et canapé-lit, .
Le ménage est fait quand vous arrivez.
Abonnement cable internet inclus dans le prix de location (période estivale)

Commerces et excursions: Quelques précisions qui peuvent vous être utiles :
Commerces et marché: Mme Delphine Amato vous indiquera les meilleurs points et coins sur le marché et dans Menton (on fait à pieds 200 m pas loin par rues piétonnes)
Excursions: Castellar Castillon Sospel Rocquebrune Gorbio c'est bien (pas loin) et encore mieux La Madone d'Utelle (assez loin derrière Nice compter la demi journée). San Remo et Vintimille en Italie: à notre avis la vieille ville et le centre sont intéressants .

No need for a car (the market and the beaches are 2 minutes away on foot)
Independent apartment on 2 levels, with mezzanine, in good conditions, in a home connected to the history of the city. Easy maintenance and staff on site. Possibility to rent the house linen, cleaning service option. Station at 20 min. you can get there by TGV. If you have a car there is free parking at 50-100m (varies according to season).
'Palais des Princes' Why?: Abritel apartment 590677 is located in the town’s historic centre (the house was built in 1640 by the Grimaldi family who lived here!). Both the building and the facades where renovated in 2010.

2min. from the St Michel Cathedral, 'Palais des Princes', the historic city of Menton, listed house from the XVII century.
5min. on foot from the centre with a traditional covered market, shops and restaurants
2min. from the beach of (by the Traversée des Diamants), with a games centre for children.
The city centre and the promenade are fully accessible on foot. The Longue Street is also accessible for cars, temporarily, letting you be able to bring your luggage, get a taxi, etc. But the street becomes pedestrian and there is free parking at about 50 metres on the St Julien Square or a little further on Laurenti Avenue. Usually, you can just leave your car and walk into the city very easily since the traffic inside is organized very particularly. The apartment is on top of the fourth floor and has views of the sea and the mountains to Italy.
For the TGV station: you can get off at “Menton centre” but not on “Garavan”.
It is easy to come by foot (we did it in 20 minutes with trolley cases and children)
You will be welcomed at the reception by Ms. Delphine Amato We will send her your contact information at the time of booking. A security deposit is required upon reception of the keys and it will be returned after a check out at the end of the stay.
The cost of the EDF is additional according to a meter reading and the corresponding fees for 1KW (it is usually not that much). You can eventually decide in the different options with Ms. Delphine Amato.
Linen rental and cleaning services available on site if you wish.
The fees for the rental of the house linens is to be defined by Delphine: towels, sheets for the single and double beds as well as for the sofa bed.
The cleaning is done when you arrive.

Honestly, a stay in this area would be beautiful in any season!

In der Altstadt von Menton, nahe bei der Kathedrale und dem Fußgängerzentrum, Auto überflüssig (Markt und Zugang zum Strand 2 Fußminuten), separate Ferienwohnung ganz neu und praktisch in einem Haus, das in die Stadtgeschichte eingebunden ist. Leichte Wartung und persönliche Betreuung vor Ort. Möglichkeit der Wäscheanmietung, Reinigung auf Anfrage. der Bahnhof ist 20 Minuten entfernt, Möglichkeit der Anreise mit dem TGV. Falls ein Fahrzeug vorhanden ist...kostenloser Parkplatz 50 bis 100 m (saisonabhängig) entfernt.
