"We have lived on Oahu and wated to see parts of the islands we have not seen. Moloka'i is beautiful! More importantly, we felt like a welcomed part of the community from the moment we met our driver who transported us to the hotel ( shoutout to Moloka'i Outdoors) to check in through our stay. The nightly local musicians at the restaurant were all wonderful and the view of the sunset is awe inspiring!"

"I arrived at night and didn’t realize there wasn’t a front desk. My phone had no signal, so I couldn’t make a call. A guy who lived there was outside and let me borrow his phone, so I was then able to call and get instructions. There was apparently a key box, and they gave me the code. "My husband and I throughly enjoyed our first time on Molokai. It feels like Hawaii from 1950! Even though we could not visit Kalaupapa (closed by National Park Service) we felt there were plenty of things to do. We found great beaches, especially Papohaku Beach, and the whale watching was incredible from the condo's wonderful second-story balcony. "Slow drain in bathtub, there was ankle deep water before the water got hot for my shower. No air conditioning. There was A Lot of highway noise as we had to open up all the windows to get cooler air into the room. Early morning chickens were also quite in evidence. Very good restaurant on site. The bed was large and comfortable. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at Poniolo Hale. The unit was very well stocked with kitchen appliances and nice furnishings. The screened in porch and large lanai added some much appreciated, very comfortable living space. The beaches within walking distance were very enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, this unit is one of the best condos we have had the pleasure of staying at in Hawaii. "
