« My sister got married in a very low key ceremony recently and we wanted to throw her and her husband a celebration with their closest friends and family. This was the perfect place for hosting a gathering! There was ample space for food prep and plenty of room for guests to hang out, play games, and enjoy the beautiful weather. « We were in town for a family funeral. What a wonderful retreat to relax, celebrate life and reminisce together. There was ample room to eat together, a big deck to enjoy the evening, and the bedrooms are spread out enough the early risers didnt wake the others. Beautiful and tastefully decorated. « I rented the cabin for a couple days during the week. The cabin was very charming and plenty of room for 5 people. The property description said there was WIFI but was told before I checked in that there wasn't any internet. Cell service in that area was bad for Verizon. We used the gas fireplace until we realized there wasn't any vents to expel the carbon monoxide from the cabin. We looked for the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors but couldn't find them. My nephew was sleeping in the loft...

« It was a great property. We ran into a few issues due to the snow storm but other than that. The hot tub was great and the arcade machine was a lot of fun. Overall a good experience and the area is not the greatest for anyone as a minority. My significant other had some uncomfortable looks and conversations due to that. My only gripe with the location.was this and it had nothing to do with the property just the city. »

« Wonderful location right near beautiful Lake Huron. I imagine it’s busier in the summer but nice and quiet in October. Very comfortable cabin; especially loved the screened porch which was perfect spot to play games as the sun went down. Didn’t cook (easy takeout nearby) but perfectly adequate kitchen if we had wanted to. Lots of nice walks and beautiful sunrises. Highly recommend for a couple; might feel crowded with more people »
