We were visiting our kids and grandkids in Midland. The property offered more than enough space for dining, leisure, and rest. The neighbor is friendly and located near shopping establishments and restaurants. Everything was clean and welcoming. We hope to return next year!

Amazing home
We enjoyed our stay. House was so nice. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The swimming pool was so clean and the outdoor patio and TV were great. The host was so nice and responded quickly.

Comfortable home for family stay
We had 7 adults in our family staying at the property during a 6 day training course at a nearby venue. It was so nice having the pool and a four bedroom, 3.5 bath home. House is very comfortable but needs a few repairs. Weve stayed at other properties and this one is needing some updating and repair work. For the price there are nicer properties in the area with similar amenities. We did enjoy our stay and just wanted to share some constructive feedback.

Walked in 30 minutes after check-in and the cleaning lady was still there so we had to wait on her to finish. She apologized and said the people before us had a late checkout. House was ok. Lots of beds and temperature was nice and cool. Definitely needs updates - doors off hinges, one side of fridge door unable to open with a taped note on the outside. Washing machine lid broken, etc. All but two towels provided were pool towels. Wifi wasn’t displayed correctly so had to reach out to the host to obtain. The most disappointing thing and why we rented the house was the pool. It was green. When we reached out to the host they said it was cleaned four days before but the entire patio area didn’t look like it had been touched in a long time. I sent the host pictures of the pool and was told we could swim in it because you could still see the blue tile triangles on the steps but that it was our preference…. Cloudy and green with no circulation is a big no. The host said he was out of the country and his pool lady was out of town. They said the pool had had a lot of activity over the weekend, to check the two baskets around the pool and hopefully it would clear up in the morning…. It was more green the next morning. The host said there was nothing to be done, apologized and offered a refund for the inconvenience but haven’t seen that. Would have definitely booked a different property had I known we couldn’t use the pool since that was the entire reason we booked this property.

Close to everything on north side Midland
We had a group celebrating the holidays and this place was a good fit. Our positive comments were related to the multiple seating options for our group / open concept. The pool table was great entertainment too. Thanks for putting up a Christmas tree!

Booked the house it looked super nice! Received a phone call that we could check in early. We get there the house is a complete mess. We call the owner and he says the house keeper was suppose to do it yesterday and didn’t. She shows up and doesn’t change the sheets, nothing. They need to update their photos and do a major deep cleaning of the house! The owner was very nice

Comfortable for large groups
I have to start with I also read the reviews and was skeptical, so I reached out to Steven prior to my stay. He went above and beyond to accommodate my 93 year old grandma all the way down to my 7 year old daughter. The pool was clean, house was cool with an amazing location. We were only using 2 of the bedrooms in the house the master and mother in law suite and both had comfortable beds. The mother in law suite is definitely the hottest room in the house, but with the fan provided, we stayed comfortably. The house allowed for some incredible game nights and dinners around the table. The living room furniture has been updates since pics were taken and is gorgeous. If I were to provide any advice, the front room fan isn't working, and an update to grill would be a great addition. It is old, and we actually decided not to BBQ because of it. Overall great property, incredible and accommodating host.

Highly disappointed
My group and myself were very upset with this rental. When we arrived, we immediately start finding issues. The outside around the pool had trash everywhere, popped beach balls, bloody napkins, etc. The outside tv does not work. The fridge that was outside had black mold and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months. Wet towels were in the washing machine. Chairs were broken and falling apart. The table in living room had sticky stuff all over it. A fan in one of the bedrooms isn’t very secure. Also, there was a woman’s personal hygiene item in one of the showers. I spoke with the host and he did have someone come remove the fridge and a maid to come move over the laundry. It was frustrating that things weren’t handled correctly before our arrival as you would expect. This home has so much potential but clearly needs some changes made. I read previous reviews regarding it being dirty and now I can see why. It’s not my job to be picking up previous trash for the people before us or being put out by people to come in and fix issues that simply should have been done in the first place. The pool also was very green.

Nice Large House
This is the second time we have stayed at this house. There were some cleaning issues this time but talked to owner and they were quick to respond. It is a nice house with large gathering areas. Checking in and out were easy.

VRBO Expectations Not Met
We were excited about staying at this property as the online pictures made it look like a great place for our family to gather. All of us were so disappointed in the cleanliness or lack thereof in this property. We had to search for clean towels that were eventually found in the dryer and had a musty smell. Stained and dirty bedspread and trash were found under each of the beds. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it and no dishwasher soap, and didn't even work very well and we ended up using paper plates. The filtered water faucet was extremely loose and made it difficult to use. Refrigerator handle was loose. The microwave over the stove didn't work, but there was a backup in the corner by the sink. The floor had crumbs in the corner and the counter was sticky. Chairs in the dining room had loose arms and one chair had a loose leg. The rug in the family room was stained and dirty. The patio was dusty and dirty and did not look like the picture on the website. The pool was clean and the pool man did come twice while we were there. My grandchildren had a great time in the pool! Found a dirty glass under our bed upon leaving. I know I could have contacted the property manager about these issues, however these matters should have been addressed prior to our arrival not while we were there. I have stayed in many VRBOs and this one was by far the dirtiest one I have been in. There was no dishwasher soap and no laundry soap to start sheets upon our departure.

It’s always nice to have a place for my elderly parents can enjoy being outside. Neighborhood pools are great, but the private pool made it much more relaxing for them.
